I realize death and grief are a process. I'll never be the person I was when my brother was alive and I am sure its the same for you too. You are so right.... the death of a sibling is a unique pain and loss, that others who have lost a sibling understand. My brother in many respects, along with my parents was that first understanding toward the meaning of love. He saw every permutation of the person I was from my birth, right on up to his passing, and you will understand this yourself. They held memories of things remembered and things forgotten that they could remind you off. I extend the warmest hug and a blanket of pure love to embrace you.

Sorry you had to go through all that! My fam member just had a plumbing incident where a toilet repair was done (2nd floor) and they left for vacation. Her dad came to check on the house a few days later and found the entire house flooded, 2nd floor all the way down to the basement. Over 125k worth of damage... drywall, floors, all their furniture. And what you said about the insurance suing the company is absolutely on point.. that's exactly what they did!

Sweet Mallory, I have watched you for years as you navigate your life and just want to encourage you today… 2022 was my bad year and I felt just like you do (actually at least you could speak and get words out lol) and I’ll tell you what, everything that happens to us is happening for us. Sounds trite or cruel or maybe just plain stupid, but hear me out. Kind people with a ginormous heart like you and I, need to learn the hard way that we were always enough. The loneliness and pain and betrayal you have ever felt at the hands of someone was only ever a call to yourself back home. You are worthy and enough just as you are and you will become everything and more than you could ever dream of. Just keep believing in your own strength because I see it in you. I am so sorry you had to go through all that stress. It is infuriating that no one can do their job right the first time. Quality of materials has also declined. No one takes accountability. I am glad to know State Farm was able to take them to court, and prove it was their fault. Again, you shouldn’t have had to even go through that trouble at all. During challenging times I just have to remind myself that it’s not a life or death situation, nor the end of the world. What are you going to do right? Just roll with the punches, and try not to stress out too much about what you can’t control. Things will be fixed and everything will be ok. My thoughts and prayers are with you. 🥰🥰🥰 Stay strong and keep your head up.

I use the Huda concealer as a fellow dry skin gal WITH ECZEMA and it is one of the best. That for more fuller coverage days. And I rotate Mario concealer or charlotte T for everyday light makeup

Water heaters are NOT that expensive!!! They owe you money! One bathroom you just need a standard hwh!!! Look up cost of water heater at Lowe’s. I had to replace one couple years back 600$ I bought and plumber picked it up installed it in less than an hour. May your 2025 be Blessed 🙌🎊🕊️

Thank You for the inside tip about State Farm and the liability of the installer!!! I am dealing with a similar situation (heat pump) myself and will be calling State Farm immediately! I love how the look turnwd out, especially at midnight! And girl, i got you! I love you, and you are strong!!!! Mercury will be out of retrograde soon!!! Onto 2025 we go!!! I have boxes where i am at in life as well!!! So are they going to use an industrial ionizer to kill the mold/mildew in your house? You can't be in your home when they use that because it changes the oxygen molecules which can also be deadly to humans, but they usually do that for a certain amount of time, then open the house to air it out for a while before you can be in there. This is the only way to get rid of the mold, mildew permanently aside from replacing all the damaged wood/ sheetrock. It has to be done by professionals as it is dangerous. This needs to be done or it's like gangrene to the home and your health.

I lost everything from a flood in July 2023 and I had State Farm insurance. They were amazing. Replaced pretty much my whole apartment. Thank god I had renters insurance. Sorry you’re going through all this. I just bought that Huda beauty concealer during Black Friday bc it was on sale on her website (plus I bought a few more goodies to try too) and I really like it as well and I’m 47! Huda Beauty always sounded like something you'd say to a Golden Retriever. "Huda beauty?? Whoodabeauuuty?" Sorry. But... I get the Tired. I remember being 36 and that overwhelmed feeling nearly did me in. But then a woman who would later become my closest ally spoke up, just when I thought I was completely alone. She locked eyes with me and said, "Don't stress. Just handle your business." These words were not profound on their own. However, the softness in which she said them, with her expression being one of absolute understanding, really took me off guard. It was 15 years ago, during a wholly different kind of life, and I wasn't accustomed to other women being kind to me. Somehow because of that ghetto-fab silliness I was instantly refreshed. I was ready to fight and able to compartmentalize and push through it. The strength donated to you by your peers is so important. I really hope you have someone like that in your life. If not, I'm sorry I'm a complete stranger. I'm sorry you can't see how sincere I am. But: Don't stress. Just handle your business. I'm so stinkin' proud of you.
