I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who loves the HD skin foundation… it seems so under rated. I have the N14 that I wear with a bit of the elf blue color corrector mixed in because all neutral shades are too peach for me. I bought the N10 when on sale to wear in winter but it is still a tinge too light. I keep having to remind myself it’s not winter yet! I bought the new formula and returned it right away. It just slipped and slid all over my face all day. ❤

I really like the HD skin it sat on my skin so well and held up for my work days, but then I started breaking out really bad like painful under the skin cystic acne on my chin. So I stopped using it and let my skin have its moment. I was just kind of hoping it was because of the weather change, so I tried it again once my skin calmed down and by the end of the day I was breaking out so bad again. I really want to try this new version but I’m so nervous it’s going to break me out again!

3:02 Yes as both a makeup artist and customer I hate when brands do this. If the ingredients affect the shades they need to do the due diligence of giving us a translation. I have seen this done but rarely. I mean they spend so much money on the products and all the things but they forget something this important 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oooo I’m excited to hear your review. Right now my holy grail is the Estée Lauder futurist serum, the one with the pump, not the glass bottle with the dropper. I dunno why they had to make two products the same dang thing 😂 anyway it’s amazing for my dry and sensitive 42 year old skin. But in winter I’m thinking something like this Makup Forever would be better, because it offers a little more coverage than the Estée Lauder .

Oh, also the Fenty Soft' Lit Naturally Luminous Foundation. I think it has a comedogenic ingredient, so I'm very curious to see if it'd work for me (if it does work for you).

I had the same issue with the shade too!!! I bought the same shade as what I had with the HD regular one and then the hydro glow one was too dark! Very annoying!

I do wish the shades could be the same formula to formula. They don’t tell you how the colour is affected by the ingredients or the oxidation range. If you are offering different formulas adjust the shades accordingly. The foundation is lovely ❤

Maybe don't put foundation AND concealer under your eyes? There's always more creasing that way 🤷🏾‍♀️. Thumbnail is deceiving bc it looks like the foundation is the problem & it's not...
