I've been watching you guys since I was 17, and I'm 24 now. I've always loved getting y'alls perspective since you're a bit older than I am. You are so so right about growing as a creator and not worrying about catering to the new crop of younger audience members. The ONLY time I ever look at a creator and go "damn this dude old" is when you can tell they are trying to act a certain way simply to cater to a younger audience. You can't just abandon the recipe! This is why I think an artist like Future still gets so much respect at 40 cause he's not trying to hop on some new gen beats just to keep up with the kids, he's evolving with his own sauce. 37:40 Love this conversation. What we don’t talk about is ageism in our communities. Why is growing older always looked at as an automatic L? See with wisdom comes an understanding of your value. Since we live in a capitalistic society being young is more profitable to the powers that be because it’s easier to shortchange someone unsure of their value. I’m glad the bros are addressing this but it is a very deep conversation that older people need to keep having. Truth be told the next generation needs us to not live to just make ends meet but truly live enjoying every aspect of our lives with no shame. A future with no past is DOA.

2024 was a very humbling year for me after years of shxt going my way for the last 5+ years. I won't say it was the worst year of my life bc there was some good, but man it felt like I just couldn't catch a break all year. Even though I'm glad that 2025 is finally here, I just want to take it a day at a time, be present, stay grounded through the good and the bad, don't take things & people for granted. 2024 was a great reminder that life has its seasons, and this season may continue onto 2025 but I'll do everything in power to prepare for this next season of life and move accordingly. The squid game topic , I feel yall looking at it from a minority vs a majority view point. while you are right about the Russian roulette part, you are looking for reasons why the scene was flawed when the whole point is about the dialog rather than the actual game itself. It's legit shown to dress up the character because we had a 2 year time skip with little to no info about what changed with the plot/characters. All we know at that point of the series is he wants to end the games and his haircut is different. What we got from that scene was worth the obvious writing of him dying at the last bullet because it showed a change in character development with 456.
