Hi Mallory. I wonder if you have recognised, seen and felt that there are specific people who are popping up in the world and have been for quite some time who are effect allies of the indigenous around the world? These people may not be able to claim lineage in this lifetime, however they recall and remember their past lives as natives. These are people who made a choice to do what they do in this lifetime for many reasons. These people are wisdom keepers whom have bought some gifts with them in order to teach humanity and in effect assist in supporting indigenous cultures around the world, to live and lead more spiritual lives, to help heal the Earth from much damage and destruction and so much more. So, when these people have tried to connect with indigenous tribes, I have seen their lives made very difficult. I am one such person. A wisdom keeper. It's taken me a long time to respect myself and claim to be who I am. So when you ask this question, perhaps another question is how people's can come together without feeling threatened by one another or closing off lines of communication. I reside in Australia and spend a lot of time with our indigenous over here. We learn from each other and teach each other. Perhaps wisdom here is needed to stop shutting people out who are here to do good.

I have been inspired by indigenous communities and cultures since I was very young, but I have never really tried connecting with anyone personally because I have been nervous that my intentions to learn might be misunderstood. Your tips in this video are definitely helpful, but I am still nervous to reach out and make those connections. I come to learn with an open mind and an open heart.

I'd love to connect and to be allied with Indigenous people. By God's will, I will do it as soon as I arrive there. My motive is to learn and share truth and reconciliation for healing and recovery.

as someone who is an indigenous person (in the US) im very wary of white allies, due to their known history of committing genocide and other horrific acts against my native community. i sometimes feel white folx demand respect from us, when they didnt earn it, due to their white privilege. also if someone is a GENUINE ally then they will not vote for politicians that continue to suppress indigenous communities (ie: pipelines, sacred landmarks, racist confederate statues, etc), these people know who they are. this video is informative and hopefully it will separate the good allies from the culture vultures.

Thanks for your question. I would smudge with sweetgrass also, and ask creator to protect your space as though a bubble has been placed over your home. Hang cedar in every window and doorway. Smudge with an open window with sage and sweetgrass while asking creator for only positive things and positive intentions to come your way.
