Im very confused about this... I took of the gear and used it on the correct spot but for some reasons the two don't synchronise like in the video. When the big clock is on this position, the small one is on another so it doesn't work... Is there something else to do?

1. The first step is to get the small gear to point at Southwest at the Southwestern socket. (Ignoring the Bigger Gear) 2. Second step, remove the small gear and insert it to any other socket and operate. You'll want the Big gear to point at Northeast, while ignoring the small gear. 3. Lastly, let them point at the opposite direction (Big gear to the Southwest, small gear to the Northeast at the Southwestern socket, this is the main goal of your operation)

my small gear never starts in the same position yours does, i dont understand

My dear, it doesn't matter. Just follow these steps 1)take the small gear out and install it into the lower left socket. 2)run the machine until the small gear points to lower left. 3)remove the smaller gear and install it at any other socket. 4)let the machine runs again, but this time pay attention to the bigger gear, until it points to upper right. 5)remove the smaller gear again and insert it back to lower left. 6)make the machine runs until both pointers of the gears overlapped each other.

No matter how the puzzle look like, it works the same. Just make sure you have completed the quest first.
