​@@akshatmishra2866 Judging by the depth of the chinese national team from this video, it won't happen in the next decade, unless other nation's youths rise up to the challenge. From what i've seen no single nation can really compete, there isn't enough talent. Harimoto isn't bad, also Japan and South Korea generally have strong youthful teams, but not at this depth and quality. Germany and Europe's population of top table tennis pros are aging with small exceptions, they can't replace Timo Boll as their most consistent player and he will turn 40 next year... Even if it's China versus the world still the odds are against the rest of the world.

Pity about the slow mo editing of that point. You missed both the Xu xin amazing bending chop block and equally amazing recovery by Wang C Q.

It's because they r used to playing against each other n there game is kind of similar.( Full on counter attacking) but when they play against players from other country. U dont see this level of explosiveness, bcoz foreign players have different playing style n they have to play according to there style. So maybe there counter game is god level but it's not like u can't beat them. Again it's just my opinion.

Yeah, table tennis would be so much more exciting if there is no Chinese national team but instead only provincial teams that compete with each other, kind of like MLB or NBA, with unique training/tactical doctrines, highly commercialized with multi-million dollar contracts, but what do I know, it's not a team sport so it might not work.

Are the Chinese a different breed of non humans ? It seems that way, the result of strict training since childhood in an extremely competitive and hard environment which is why win or lose you’ll probably find the Chinese player more polished
