I straight up started tearing up the first time I saw this scene. Jessica Walters was one of a kind. And the fact that they even included her real life husband for Archer (who also sadly passed away years before her) to play Ron makes it even more heartfelt. Rip to both of them.

The fact that Mallory, unlike the other spymasters on the show from the early seasons (Len Trexler and Nikolai Jakov) got the happy ending, living in utter comfort on a tropical beach locale, with her beloved (retired) business tycoon husband and getting out of the business on her own terms, no doubt in ironclad anonymity where no enemies or lovers can find her... it's what her character deserved and what we needed as an audience. It was perfect.
