The only arena content I watch besides when Zwag adds it on the back of a video is King Nidhogg, and the contrast is so funny to me. Zwag is like "I guess I'll go this" or "I wonder if this works with what I already got" and then proceeds to outplay or luck a win anyways while Erick is like "Yooo this procs my so and so and then I can get this item and hope for this augment" and suddenly he has a really weird build that absolutely destroys kids. The personalities are so different too, I wonder what it would be like if they did a couple hours in duo arena on stream. i0ki already did this, was some really nice content.

The cool thing about tanks, apart feom being unkillable, is that most of the time you are the one choosing when to fight, so your not at the mercy of some brain dead engage and as long as your carries are half decent you can win a lot, even from behind with tons of cc.

The only reason why you do damage is because of malphite's kit. His w and e scale off armor. So, the more armor you have on malphite, the more damage you deal. Build all armor on leona or zac and then tell me you can carry as a tank.

Theres a reason Leona is support, her passive is useless on 1v1 and her entire kit is balanced around her perma cc potential, and she usually builds around utility, more support items and less aggressive tank items so this point doenst make sense Zac does a lot of damage, he can build one Liandry/Mejai and the rest tank, he can one shot squishies and trade with other tanks/bruisers You have to see if the tank is a perma cc tank, champs such as Maokai, Leona and Nautilus are all about cc, so obviously their damage is diminished, Malphite, Zac, Rammus, Chogath and Sion deals a heck lot of damage

I always kinda cringe when people play tank Malphite and max Q over E first. Yes. Q offers better poke. But if you’re not building AP that poke isn’t nearly as potent. Whereas maxing E, which has armor scaling, offers the same if not better damage as Q and offers wave clear, something Malphite struggles in if you max Q first. In this matchup I guess it’s not as bad because the likelihood of you getting some E poke on a semi-ranged character like Urgot is lower. But I see people doing this even against melee while going tank.
