I love the sound of those buses. I remember the old green and the grey ones on Gozo.They used these vintage 1950s buses but painted them up wonderfully, to keep them new, and on the inside there were shrines to Jesus and Mary. Plus the driver would decorate the window with Liverpool, AC Milan, Manchester Utd and so on. They supported only English or Italian teams.

I think this was an early 70's coach with bus seats fitted later in the 80's. It was often around the back streets. I guess the vehicle was partially customised, with a home made exhaust system which achieved maximum character!

I used to live there, and I don't know when the bus drivers weren't either smoking, ripping you off, or having an argument.
