With the recent mystery dog illness going around, I was too scared to take either of my dogs to the groomers as one of my dogs is on immunosuppressants and would be sure to catch it, and probably wouldn't survive it with her other co-morbidities! I used this tutorial to do both of them myself here at home and they turned out great! Better than the groomer I take them to here in MD (if i do say so myself LOL). Suzanne - they will never look as great as when I can bring them to Florida to see you, but thank you for making this video so I can do them myself at home!

The close ups and detailed explanation is so helpful! I’ve rewatched several times already. I struggle with feet trimming - my aim is to keep them full, large, and round, in balance with a long coat - and this video goes into detail with great tips on how to trim around the feet. My baby is a six year old male maltese I've had since he was nine months old. The groomers I used always did the Teddy Bear cut. On the TV Dog shows I watched, all the hair was grown long for competition. Not practical in summer though. I loved this elegant style on Emmy Jane. Is there a variation for a male? I want him to look like a boy dog.
