To be fair to Hephaestus, he specifically asked Kratos: "Has my wife conquered another god of war?" He been knew his wife was for the streets and just doesn't care. Also to add to Ares' stupidity, not only did he not get the right kid, he tried to make one for his own only to raise him so terribly that said kid decides to help Kratos out.

Hephaestus knew his wife is disloyal to him, but he didn't care. All he cared was Pandora. Also, had Ares took his time to raise Orkos properly, he could have been his successor. Poseidon and Hades didn't deserve to die, but due to the fact that they are willing to die to protect Zeus and Olympus, they have to go. Had they simple sided with Kratos, they might still be alive. Gaia should know that backstabbing Kratos is a disaster, Kratos was the reason why the Titans have a fighting chance. The Sisters of Fate though, yeah, that's complete bs.

real talk? the only beef poseidon had with kratos was his warmongering as a god, sinking atlantis, and waging a war with Olympus. the same reason he's taken out so harshly as his daughte is simply because he got in the way of a kratos completely overtaken by his rage.

in god of war 3 kratos had enough with the gods..his patient run dry. sooo yeah if poseidon is smart enough just to step aside he wont die..kratos want zeus and zeus yet many stand on his way. if i were poseidon..knowing what kratos do like defied fate...maybe..just maybe i step aside. this all zeus and his uncontrol sausage fault.
