Mam Tor Easy Hike | Best Walks in the Peak District

Hello! Another visit to the Peak District National Park, this time I walk up the popular Mam Tor.

A place I have never been but seen many times but it always looks so busy, which tends to out me off a bit. It look a really nice walk up, despite taking the wrong path twice, sounds a bit like me lol and that weather was amazing. Stunning lunch view, despite the lack of fluid but not that keen on seeing cows on the path, too unpredictable for me. Lovely views from the top but a few too many people about for me but you cannot argue with that pub at the end, what a great place to finish your walk, cheers Alan

Thanks Alan, fortunately the people are just to visit the summit, there was no-one else on the rest of the walk apart from a few actual walkers which I don't mind. Amazing views from up there, it was worth a visit. I wouldn't visit at a weekend though, it'll be crazy up there!

Hi Yasmin, yeah they were the most chilled cows I have ever come across- they must get thousands of people walking past them up there! :D

I was there last Thursday ( solstice) wild camped winnets pass the night before. Take care out there.

Well done Carrie. You had perfect weather. Beautiful lunch view👌 You did well the cows. 7 miles on a hot day is pretty good. I always carry loads of waters. I pee a lot😂 Not so easy for women. Nice pub stop👌👋❤️

Yeah, I normally take plenty of fluids, I just forgot my extra bottle, silly me! Definitely the best lunch view for a while.
