You know Daesangs are awarded based on certain criteria. The group which meets the criteria are nominated and with most points will win. Stray Kids didn't win coz Seventeen had most points.

IVE did good, they would have won other years if it wasn't for the strong contestants of this year.. seventeen deserved it 'cause their album was the most selled one, Ditto easily took soty because of the record of most PAKS in k-pop history (around 600) against I AM (around 300) and artist of the year newjeans, they had more points (62) the second ones in the category were nct (49 points)

Well, if you heard mingyu's speech after they won album of the year, he clearly mentioned pledis and hybe and thanked them and all the staffs for their success . And ofc, you can't deny that svt, who were already popular before , became super popular after they joined hybe cuz many more people started to look for them (as hybe already had a super big fan base). Ik it's pledis who directly manages svt, but hybe's contribution is very important in svt's success as well.
