Actually no it's not it's one of the reasons that a LOT of addicts end up finally getting sober. I'm an ex heroin/fentanyl addict and when you have no where to go and you feel you've hit rock bottom and you have no other options you go to rehab and a lot of the time you end up finding resources and help and that's what it takes for a lot of people so when she said that I wasn't surprised one bit a LOT of addicts have that same reason

Just an FYI; everyone does NOT have to wait til rock bottom to get clean!! Just Bc u had that experience don’t mean it’s the same way for everyone. I still had MY OWN HOUSE (I bought ALONE at 18!) I still had my house, my job as an office mgr at the the biggest search engine.....I hadn’t lost anything except money. I went to rehab Bc my family found out and forced me. But here I am 6 YEARS later still clean, NO relapses at all, still in my home and still working at the same place and I’ve moved up in my career.

Thank God..having the TLC production and the public opinion probably helped her grow and develop extensively. She was finally exposed to people who had morals, values and good character, who could mentor her at that impressionable age and role models setting an example of how things should be in life. It most likely exposed the flaws of her life and upbringing. She would be a completely different person had it not been for the show and the exposure to people of different walks of life. I believe that alone helped BOTH pumpkin and Joshua grow into better adults.

Josh is ABSOLUTELY my favorite cast member!!! He’s definitely not perfect by any means, but because he loves his wife dearly, and knows just how much she loves her family, he goes above and beyond for them all, and it’s rare and commendable! OAN: Can somebody PLEASE get Alana into individual counseling, and the ENTIRE family into group therapy before she becomes Mama June?! We know that children generally duplicate whichever behaviors, language, and attitudes are most commonly demonstrated, and their mother NEEDS serious, long-term therapy.

Well luckily for her during her impressionable years when she needed guidance the most she had the voice of the public what should be socially accepted and I'm sure TLC production staff who I'm sure come from many walks of life they were exposed to & that taught them a lot and gave them guidance. I'm sure just by reading all the public views was enough for her to grow and develop in a positive way bc the flaws of her way of life and upbringing I'm sure were exposed to her very quickly. I'm sure the praise that her and josh receive now from the public will Excell them even further as it has done so far. Children that grow up like that just need a little love and praise to grow up into confident and healthy people. You can see pumpkin never got it growing up so you can see she wants to make the public and her younger siblings proud. ♡

I think it's wonderful how they both have ended up as adults. I kno that has a lot to do with the shows production and the public who she was exposed to that essentially taught her of what a healthy adult should look like..I hope that he reads all these positive comments about himself as a man and dad and continues on a great path as a father and husband.. they need that kind of praise to help them become the best they can be.. especially pumpkin im sure cherishes that kind of love and praise bc you know she did not grow up with that. I use to work with troubled youth from poor upbringings and sometimes that's all those kids needed was a little praise and love to flourish. ♡

As a child of an alcoholic a bad one at that. I wish he went and got help regardless of his reasonss. Yeah she went and got help because she needed a place to stay. Sucks that she wasn’t strong enough to pull it together for her kids fr but at least she got the help she needed at the end. Mother, daughters, fathers, brothers etc, we are all individuals at the end of the day. People struggle and fall into addictions to lick their wounds. Because I’ve been watching them since here comes honey boo-boo, I really pray that they mend their family relationship so that they can lean on each other again.

The way Josh is with Alana, can you imagine when his own baby girl is a teen and gets her first boyfriend🤯 he is going to lose it🤷‍♀️ the best thing to watch is how pumpkin is grown married 2 babies and stepping in for her sisters. Her mama should be thankful and grateful beyond, she has grown up so much faster.

To be honest I understand that’s their mom so their gonna love her but the show should’ve stopped no money should be going into her pocket knowing she does drugs with her boyfriend I don’t understand who’s enjoying watching this woman crumble because of her horrible relationship what made me go to rehab was because I was homeless not because you seen you were hurting your kids mother of the year 🙄

I love that the Girls were able to do amazing without their mom. Like yeah their weight is on the high side but they are in a clean healthy homes they did on their own.....So here is hoping things stay positive for the girls
