He is an abusive , manipulating person. He got her onto drugs and dragged her away form her own family without a care in the world, he doesn’t give a shit about her family or June. He could have got her so hooked on drugs he could have killed her, and she chooses to stay with him. She has a problem, and she will continue to follow in his footsteps, she will continue to choose that man over her family , and I am sure she will go back to drugs again. Some people tend to gain weight while sober because, during addiction recovery, when the brain lacks chemicals from a drug a person would usually take during addiction, it would seek-out other substances sober people find pleasuring, which is food. This process is called addiction transfer, and it’s pretty normal. This explains why June and Geno gained weight cause they found food pleasuring, which helps them recover. But yeah, I think she and Geno should be on a better diet.

I use to work behind scenes in Television and worked on a few reality shows, producers are extremely greedy and will take advantage of people who participate on a show. My husband and I did counseling for a year when we we in our early 20’s I was dealing with a major health issues. I had a tumor removed from my uterus and I was recovering. I had to leave work to recover and my husband was swamped with work. So the counseling was what really helped us get through the hard times. So I hope the show at least provides that for all of them.

I honestly don’t think she’s asking for much. Men think that working is the only responsibility they have. She has to be a chef, nanny, house keeper, etc. Those are all actual jobs. She has 2 kids to take care of and she’s young. All she’s asking for is communication which should be a given since they’re long distance now. He doesn’t want to her to voice her concerns or frustrations which isn’t fair. She’s suppose to be able to share her thoughts and feelings with her husband. He needs to stop running and deal with what’s going on. He’s using his job to escape the chaos but she’s living the chaos everyday. She deserves to unload.

This episode has given me a newfound respect and appreciation for Gino's maturity. It almost seems to me that he has grown through this and Mama has lost chunks of her soul. If there ever was one. I always wondered if she was a narcissist living vicariously through Allanna and that was the only reason she did so much for her in pageants. I could be wrong but look it up and think about it. The kids are amazing! Pumpkin is AMAZING! They are resilient, resourceful and they're strong. Mom is smiling for the camera because her dream of being in the spotlight is now a reality. She didn't like the way she felt in her body or how her body looked after extreme weight loss. That was about her. If she hadn't have been using they could have helped her but she skyrocketed out of control. She doesn't even realize how much damage she's caused. She knows it but she doesn't understand the pain it's caused her family. She figures she's Mama! They should have pulled together and then run to her when she was better. That's not how it works. It's sad to see Pumpkin and Josh is sad.I hope they work it out. Fight for your relationship. Dont push each other too far away to fix it. Get a job closer. Depending on where in South Carolina....it's not good.

My boyfriend (been together 10 years) works out of town all week and is only home on weekends. I don't call him or text him constantly hounding him about what he's doing. He works hard all day and I know he's tired when he gets off work and wants to relax then go to bed. I'm busy with the kids, animals, and house anyways. I would feel horrible if he drove 8 hours home just for me to treat him this way because of my own insecurities. If Josh was working minimum wage and couldn't afford her lifestyle I'm sure he would be treated just as bad. Some people just can't win. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I have so much respect for pumpkin. She is amazing, raising her own family on top of her baby sister. I have been put into a very similar situation with my younger brother, practically been raising him since he was born ( I was 10). We are now 28 and 18 and I have my own army of small children running around. We were at least fortunate enough to have a stable close family member to help us and he decided to live with them. He is thriving, happy and healthy and that is all I have ever wanted for him. I know that is all Pumpkin wants for Alana, she is so amazing for stepping up that way.
