We leave our Christmas decorations up until February!! It takes too long to put them up, we want to enjoy them through the dog days of winter! Besides, my husband puts colored lights along our kitchen upper cabinets, around doorways and on the trees, so my grandchildren will enjoy them too. When it gets dark so early, it's so nice to have all the colored lights to make it look magical! I have 8 brothers and sisters, but we're the only ones who use colored lights!

So Kim I have to say I’ve been off work since august as I’m a paramedic and lifted a pt herniating L4/5, it’s been a rough few months but certainly not the end of the world and hopefully I will heal but I have to tell you I am so living vicariously through watching your videos! I can’t lift, twist, bend all that good stuff so I get to watch you cleaning and organizing despite being a little jealous it is keeping me entertained and ooohhh the projects I have to do when I’m able to do so!!! Yes I still have Christmas decor up but it is slowly coming down, but you motivated for me to do something in my dining room I have half christmas half winter and half Valentines. I love your reset videos. They get me moving after I see the cleaning you've done. I took my Christmas things down on Tuesday. Now I go through the whole and clean. Next week, I'll be getting my summer stuff out. I decorate my whole house, even the tops of my cupboards. My granddaughters love it when I get my decorations out. I have a small tree in their bedroom that I have valentine decorations. The weather here in Wisconsin is warm today with it being in the twenties. Next week we will have minus temperatures as our high and minus below for at night with wind chills. I'll be glad when the warm weather gets here. Thank you for your reset video, my tea is gone now, time to get moving.

In the midwest we use a lot of blankets or heated blankets, fireplace, layer clothes and wear slippers all day to keep warm. The molded fruit in the fridge, kids might go to it more if it was on the counter instead of the fridge. Fridge keeps it last longer but I have noticed if the kids don't see it and they have to physically open a drawer 😂 they won't eat it. Or if I peel and put thing in baggies they will grab for it.
