A morning with my daughter at AGO in TORONTO

Spending the morning with my beautiful daughter we’re going to the art museum have a nice coffee and maybe a walk

The art I purchased.
Marchesa Luisa Casati was a very interesting lady.
Her mother died when she was 13 and her father died two years later leaving her and her older sister very wealthy orphans.
She was eccentric for sure lived a wild and lavish life but tragically she died penniless.
 There is a book on her called
Infinite Variety:
The Life and Legend of the Marchesa Casati

Well I am glad your daughter is here. They are doing the same thing in AnnArbor. All the beautiful buildings and shops are gone, and huge buildings to house wealthy people have taken over. AnnArbor was a well known bohemian town from the 60'S it's gone now. 😢

Wow! What a beautiful museum. Hi to the beautiful Courtney. I loved that the museum had colored walls, so many times all of the walls are white to show the artwork or so they say. To me the colored walls enhanced the art. Love, love, love the picture you got. All of the indigenous artwork was amazing as well. The woman in the red dress nailed to the pole, the one with the roses and fur and the fabulous picture with the ice. Wow! Were they powerful. Thanks for taking us along. I visit the art museums wherever I go, we have a wonderful Art museum in Portland Oregon. This is enjoyable to see you go through the one there. I also loved seeing the buildings in the neighborhoods. That is another thing I do, I like just going through neighborhoods randomly, taking my little dachshund for walks... retirement is good :)

Again, not sure how I missed this great video, but it was very enjoyable. Reminded me that I need to make a visit to my own beautiful Portland Art Museum soon, and Enjoy all the beautiful fall foliage in the Park Blocks. We are definitely into Autumn here in Western Oregon. I think we have about another week or so before the trees are bare of their leaves. Just an update for you...did you know at the end of Sept there is a new Value Village opening in the Brunswick House at Brunswick and Bloor.
