They formed from a TVN show called MAMA THE IDOL. Theyre contacted to form a new project Girl group and really they surpassed everyones expectation. I miss Sunye and Kahi, she's the standard 😉 The lady with a short hair is Hyun Jyu Ni, she is a rocker but became a model actress, I saw her first on Descendants of the Sun, she is the best friend of Song Hye Kyo there. The other lady is Yang Eunji from Baby V.O.X Re.V.

They're a project group from the TVN show "Mama the Idol" (you guys should watch it). Sadly the last episode will be this week 😭 The other 2 talented ladies are Eunji from Baby Vox Rev and Hyun Jyu Ni (short-hair) from a rock band bellamafia (i think) she's also an actress. You won't regret watching the show guys! Lia Kim choreographed their song. Please react to their mcountdown performance too! They ate it up! We need more songs from them but sadly the show is ending this week 😩 I'm thinking if it goes viral they'll be able to do a mini concert or something. I've been streaming their song nonstop.

This song hits even harder after watching the show (still ongoing ,i think it's 7/10 episodes so far);d Can u imagine some of them gave birth to 3 kids, are raising them etc, and still are able to dance and look like that? Damn. And then there's also Kahi who's 42yo ,2 kids, and her stamina(her godly abs ,pls) is WAY better than mine,being 10 years younger :D:D

I watched the show cause of Kahi at first cause of the clip she did LALISA cover but got interested cause of Sunye, Byul, Jung ah, Jyuni, and Eun Ji, and eventually became the fans of them as i watched it, challenge after challenge, they're so talented and wos the charisma, experience didn't lie. Looks like they never left the industry before.

The group name MAMADOL, came from the show Mom is an Idol, a reality show where former K-Pop Idols and artists, forms a girl group. The requirement for the show, was that they were formerly in the music or k-pop industry and are actual moms to participate. Member include, Sun Ye, former Wonder Girls, Kahi, former After School, Jung Ah, former Jewelry, Eun Ji, former Baby Vox, Byul, former Balladeer/soloist, Ju Ni, former vocalist of an indie band BellaMafia and currently an actress.

Hyun Jyuni (the mom with the short black hair) ironically didn't have extensive dance experience like the others. She was in Beethoven Virus, Descendents of the Sun, and Iris, and was exceptional in them. Loved her in Beethoven Virus. She was the vocal of a rock band before she got vocal nodes and shifted to acting. She absolutely killed it though. You should absolutely check out her Vogue-ing performance for the show.

I watched all the subbed episodes of "Mama is an idol" on drama cool!! It shows all the "auditions" and background stories/history of each of the six members and the missions and some pretty awesome stages. Like the one of the Jewelry members getting back together and of Sunmi and Sunye doing Gashina and JYP and Sunye's emotional duet! You should do a reaction to that show!
