a fun thing for "pastel" that comes up in its behind the scenes is the fact that one of those skaters brought in for the video was her friend, jude (or jvde), formerly of the group big star. she'd done a few collabs with him, the bruno mars cover "that's what i like" and jude's song "miss u" and the two have been known to hang out on their own with a few other idols in their own time but wheein wasn't the one that called him for it. the director reached out to some skaters he knew and one just happened to be jude, so when he found out it was for wheein's video he called her and let her know he was gonna be n it

wheein did actually go paragliding! not for the video, of course, but one of her friends managed to convince her and her manager to go paragliding once and they posted about it... on twitter, maybe? i forget where. just a very, very short clip of wheein trying to run and start when the instructor wanted her to hold on, then her tiny, high pitched shrieks when she finally did take off

Wheein really emphasised that they thought a lot about the tracks and the album order and it really shows - bright and comforting start and I like how we have an interlude that sets the tone for the second part of the EP.
