I've been watching K-pop fans react to this and their album and they seem kind of "meh" about it. And I'm so perplexed. I am incredibly harsh on K-pop because so much of it has been pretty similar and just uninventive. Mamamoo has always brought us different sounds and like you said, this song in particular does so much right. It hits exactly as it should but not how you expect it to - if that makes any sense. So damn good. The entire album is actually!

i dont listen to many other groups' songs but this mamamoo starry night is really good. the first time i heard it reminded me of taeyeon's I and i like this type. :)

The ending is part of another song, Became Calm, Hwasa's solo (the one with the black hair!) Each member would get a solo each comeback and this time round, Hwasa got it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZzKh2p-p8dgZ8U ^they released a video for the fans too (it was made on a budget of about $20, so not exactly an official MV...but still looks AMAZING!) also, loved the enthusiastic response 😂

Even if you cant react to their lives, watch starry night m countdown comeback. Btw, this mv is in 2 channels( yt and their company channel). So the total of views is higher combined. there are about 18 million so far. and this is the faster a Mamamoo's mv get to this much.
