It's hard even for me as a fan seeing hate comments about my favorite artists and their music, even if they're sometimes disguised as 'constructive criticism'. I can't imagine how the artists themselves must be feeling when confronted with hate about something they poured their time and soul into. I guess it doesn't really get easier with time

It is, but sadly we can't really stop people from throwing criticisms constructive or otherwise and I think that's part of the struggle as well. That's why you do things like what PWS did, not reading comments to prevent yourself from doubting. The ideal thing to do is to weed out the bad and focus on criticisms that make you better, but to be able to do that the artist needs to brace themselves before diving into those comments and be willing to get hurt enough without getting scarred. That takes a lot of courage and strong mentality. We are all human, no matter who you are you are going to get hurt reading bad comments about you and your work.

I saw that unbiased review from DKDKTV for wheein album. Unfortunately, he just compared wheein to other members and his review lacks of in depth material of her music. He said her music isn't as strong & catchy as other member. This really broke my heart as a fan and wheein bias. In fact, Wheein gradually felt comfortable on her own, despite of her struggling & copping with her anxiety for several past year. When Wheein release Redd, I felt relieve that she felt comfortable enough to produce what music she likes and not try to fit genre that expected from idol who debut solo. Maybe Wheein taste of music won't pleased mass audience, but I'll be one of fans who stand to support what music she want to pursue. You did wonderfull job, Wheeinaa~ Thank you for blessed us with this amount of music & content🤗

No matter what females have to reinvent themselves. What I've always liked and am drawn to mamamoo with each member (wheein esp😎) is that they don't try to fit into that standard they create their own. Also have relatable and inspirational songs (like real artists should). I agree there's constructive criticism but females don't need to be objectified and use sex to sell everything. Her personality is relatable, her vocals and talent is WOW. But also she is polite and respectful to all the staff and team who help create her music 😎 #respect so stuff that professional music review person and their selective perception comparing strong females 😐

i’m korean-american and grew up on janet jackson, new edition, tony! toni! toné!, etc. and i really love everything about “watercolor” (and “redd” in general), it’s perfect! wheein, pws, justjerk, hobin, everyone are really amazing and did a great job 👏 honestly, the song makes me really emotional because it reminds me of growing up in the 90s, and it really shows how korea has come so far. thank you so much 🌷🦋
