I searched for YEARS to find a decent bag I'd be happy with, but everything commercial fell short. Nice, but some of us are using regular zippers, not the zipper tape rolls. We can't separate the tapes to sew it on like you do at 09:00. That makes it a little trickier.

When you topstitch around the top of the bag (almost finished, right side out), do you catch the lining into that seam? Otherwise the lining is baggy on the inside. I think I'm going to unpick my topstitching and try to catch in the lining.

She uses continuous zipper tape. You just cut the length you need. But you could also buy regular zippers and cut them down. Make sure to have enough length in your zipper without the metal stops.

Here in the USA there is no such thing as a 10inch or 11inch zipper. Only available to me are: 6,7,9,12 inches. So which one do I use?

12" Then you can cut off the excess. Here, in Indonesia there are zippers in certain sizes and they are also available in meters. (We can buy in meters)

You can get a 50 ft roll of zipper and just cut off what you need. I’ve only ever gone that route.
