Quick dinner idea | Taco Casserole using pantry items | What to make with ground beef for supper

My friend Louise gave me this recipe and I couldn't wait to try it. It's quick and easy which is a plus when you don't want to be in the kitchen for too long. I added some lettuce and other toppings but you don't have to. It makes a lot! (And yes, you could always freeze half of the recipe for later.)

Thank you Sue, I appreciate seeing how you do yours, I make a much smaller one in a 2 gt baking pan. I mix 1 pound of cooked ground beef that has a small onion & some Mexican bell pepper in it, some beans, corn & sala & top it with Jeffy's cornbread bake it & top it with a.sour cream, seasoning &; cheese mixture. I Love This! I mix All ingredients together except the chips. I put in the oven covered. On My plate I put crushed nacho chips and whatever toppings I want. Very Good. I've been making this for at least 45 years!

If you like this you should try doritos casserole , you can use hamburger or chicken to make it

Drain the beans but don't rinse them..there is lots of flavor on those beans. Also try Ortego Taco sauce instead of the salsa..

Sorry I messed up my message! I loved the nacho cheese Doritos so much when they first came out, I made a similar casserole to this and also a salad with all fresh ingredients to this. I just love them! I’m going to make this tonight for my hubby and I. Thank you for your words and love of God. I KNOW the lord spared my life almost 14 years ago.
