Your videos are amazing!!! Which do you prefer to do in Curacao - the Renaissance or Mambo Beach? I get one is free and one is $40 - but if the $$ wasn't a concern which do you prefer and why????? Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to show us this stuff. This beach looks amazing. It's hard to believe that with in the matter of a couple weeks my son and I are going to be here. I'm beyond excited. I do however have a question. I've heard many times that upon returning to the cruise port you are required to show your ship pass and ID both. My son is only 14 yrs old. He's not old enough for a state ID. Do you think this will be a issue for him? Neither one of us have passports. We were told that we didn't need them that we can just use our birth certificates.

Correct. Anyone under 16 I believe only need to be with a parent or guardian when they go through the port security. You would present your ship card and they if asked toy would vouch for your son. As he is under age and not expected to have an id.

They do, even though the local currency is gilders, most places will give you the exchange rate difference. Just have small currency to make it easier to give them the right amount. Get it changed on the ship st the guest services desk or casino cashier.

Curacao is amazing.. that is but one of the more touristy beaches.. but there are way way better ones.. and not that far.. papagaio beach is really nice.. Good video..

right $7, from the port to the beach it isn't close. plus the fares on Aruba and Curacao are a little higher than other islands as its very European influenced, and also the gas prices on the island factor in as well.

yeah, almost every taxi or cabin the Caribbean do a Per Person rate. maybe only with the exception of Cozumel, who do per car. with so many taxis going back and forward to the exact same place, they end up with fixed prices a lot of the time.

You need to go for a minimum of 10 days to Curaçao. So many nice beaches and great snorkeling and diving. Miss it so much and can’t wait t go back. The blues festival is also excellent. Hopefully COVID-19 goes away so we can travel again 😀

Why did you take a Cab? looking to save money , There is a bus right behind the circular market outside the port takes you there in 10 minutes for about a buck!!!

@@shaniaeve3537 no, I didn't! Curaçao was one of our ports of call during a cruise last April so I didn't stay long enough in the island. Besides I was always in a rush and there were no buses visible or movement of some kind (taxis, bikes, etc)!! We just took a tour offered by one of the companies by the pier and they showed us very quickly the island's highlights. Aruba, in the other hand had a very good public transportation system, even with time ticking we were able to go to Eagle Beach and come back using the local bus company.

For snorkeling should I bring my own or do they provide the supplies ? Which beach can I swim with turtles more freely ?

KC Adventures oof it depends on what beach your going to honestly (talking about the supplies)I’d recommend papagayo mambo wich are like connected somehow but on your way to papagayo you can find yourself with an aquarium and there’s also an ocean nearby I also recommend going to playa piscado the turtles normally come at 4pm or 11pm Hope this helped when covid19 is over :)
