It's very easy to get there and back. I guess o make it look easy. My dad was a bus driver most of his life, so I was taught to catch buses and get around my self.

Couple of questions: Are the palapas and loungers that are in front of the Hilton when you first walked out for everyone to use for free or do you have to rent them from a vendor? Also, the pool that you are in at the end, which hotel is that? Did you buy a day pass? Thanks!

Just got back. You can't use the Hilton umbrellas but we asked staff outside and they took us to a spot right next to theirs where we could rent chairs and umbrellas. It was next to De Pier and Bugaloe restaurant (which had delicious shrimp tacos) plus public restrooms. We arrived around 10:30am and were one of the first to get an umbrella. RIU offers day passes but they are $150 per person.

Great video, thanks so much! I was surprised that Palm Beach was not as full as everyone claims. We were planning to take taxi also but now it's just going to be easier to take the bus. You have a great personality! Loved this video, it was so helpful and you are fun to listen to!

Your welcome. It really is a nice place. Its very different from other cruise stops, as it really doesn't rely on cruise tourism as much as places like Cozumel or st martin do. if that makes sense.

Thank you for posting. Are there public restrooms at this location and is there a fee for the shade structures and chairs. If so, approximate cost and form of payment they take would be helpful.

FYI - this video is now outdated due to construction and google street view is not current but it's still easy to get to the bus terminal. You'll now turn right once you get to the main street. Walk down the street and pass the Crocs shoe store on your right. Then cross the street at the next crossing. Go across to the large building. You'll see an opening with orange awnings. Go thru the opening and look to the left - you'll see the exact same little building to buy tickets. They literally just picked the building up and moved it. It was very easy to get to. Probably easier.

At the Hilton, there isnt really too many people checking who is staying there and who isnt, so I just blended in. I dont bring cruise libe towels or beach bangs that make it too so obvious i am on the ship.

The taxi right at the cruise termi al were charging $25 for upto 4 people. The cabs there are smallm and they dont allow for more people in one cab. If your 5 for instance you need to take 2 cans. Or perhaps pool together with other families.

I am a little cheeky and didnt pay to use to the pool, I just blended in like a local. The key is to not flaunt the cruise line towels when your in the resort area.

most people who go there from the ship, just try to blend in with the local hotel goers. if that makes sense. I am sure if you were to enquire with the hotel directly they have a day pass of some kind. but all the time i have been there, i have just put my stuff down on a chair by the pool and hung out.

Couple questions, we will be in Aruba Oct. 16th....is there a fee to use the lounge chairs or palapas? Also, the pool you were in is that free to use? Wasn't sure if that pool was different then the ones in the beginning of the video, where you said they were only for Hilton guests

When you take the city bus and you go to Eagle beach do you get off before you get off for Palm Beach?

Correct, eagle beach is before you hit the strip of hotels that's Palm beach. Eagle beach is a little bit more isolated from where all the hotels are, you just tell the bus driver to stop at eagle beach on the way for you.

There is no fee for beach access. Some of the parts of the main beach though does have been chairs which can be rented.
