Because most people around the world are idiots. Also because carnivores are overrated. In this case though, Mammoths are given the power they deserve. Elephants wouldn’t be effective against spear and fang (knowing their past) 0:53 is unrealistic though

2nd time I have seen a guy who knows the powers of herbivorous animals. In animation like lion king and primal, they mainly underestimating elephants On land herbivorous are powerful like elephant rhino and gaur On the ocean Carnivorous like shark orcas and sprem whales

Primal doesn’t underestimate them like that. don’t paint it under that brush, spear and fang can kill almost anything so that’s why they dispatched them easily. Plus in Primal they look cool unlike many cartoons Every other cartoon pretty much underestimates and nerfs elephants though.
