Sounds like a very fun and grueling competition. On my AR10 I got away from the adjustable M4 style buttstock for a Magpul PRS Lite. A much better option for me having a solid stock with adjustable cheekpiece. Oh I like the idea of attaching the holster to the chest rig.

I had removed the PRS stock for a regular stock because of weight. That turned out to be the wrong move overall

If you don't find a partner, check into comming and being an RO. You defintally see and learn a lot of things, a lot of them are good some not so good and some are entertaining...
