No
Now what have you done? No
How far will you run?
Falling one by one
Is that enough for you my love?
Failing everyone
Am Ienough for you my love?
I swear It hought it was over
Just let me know when you're done
And when the lights start fading
Take a bow it's over for me
You're wrong at the right time. Save me
Take a bow you're devastating
Now
take back what you've done
Now
Got nowhere to run
nowhere to run
Oh god just let it be over
I can't believe what you've done
And when the lights start fading
Take a bow it's over for me
You're wrong at the right time. Save me
Take a bow you're devastating
Lost in darkness
Did you forget what you're fighting for?
Crossed and heartless
Did you forget what you're running from?

THAT guitar and THAT amp make a sound that nothing else can...IN the hands of a Van Halen. It's obviously cool to hear that Wolf has the fingers and the touch. He doesn't sound like Ed. But, he sounds like a "Van Halen" should. The guy has the DNA, but it takes tremendous effort to put it to work. He clearly has.

And his father would have it no other way! Ed had been singing Wolf's praises for a very long time. (He didn't bring him into Van Halen just because he was his son, which of course he loved immensely, he did so because the kid could flat out play!). Ed heard the 1st album before anyone of course, & had been telling everyone, "Just wait until you hear it!". He KNEW how good the music is. What a happy conclusion for Wolfgang, all of his individual success, amongst such intense sadness at the loss of his father, & best friend. Ed was extremely proud of Wolfgang & would no doubt be thrilled with how this song turned out. Wolf killed it! ❤️🎶🎸

Wolfie, you have absolutely evolved into your own person. Congratulations to you. All those years of Eddie saying “ wait until you hear Wolfies album” was such an understatement of what it actually is. His talent is just as awesome as his father and Uncle but his own, and different. When I think back to when he was a teen going out with Vanhalen my first thought was that’s child abuse lol never played in front of 50 people so let’s put him in front of 20;000 lol then remembering Sammy saying in interviews he was playing and singing to a tape lol as a 57 year old man who’s first concert experience was first watching AC/DC followed by Vanhalen at a day on the green in 1978, I have to say I get the same shock and awe and warmth every time I hear Wolfes music. That solo was perfect……..Vanhalen DNA but different in a great way. This is what music needs right now. My kids got me tickets to his show here in August and I can’t wait

Wow, what a powerhouse of a lead! From the patient pauses in attack matching the percussive themes built into the song, to the little chromatic runs, to the extremely well placed tapping techniques all wrapped in a swing serving melody that can only come from part God part Dad but delivered through the soul and hands of Wolfgang. What a wonderful balance of honoring the father while being his own person. Dude, you just simply rock and thank you for being an important part of keeping Rock alive.

The best thing about "that solo" is its controlled structure. Everyone would EXPECT the son of the GOAT to go hellbent from start to finish, but firstly he has constructed a great song, and then elevated it with a tasty solo, that takes us on a journey rather than splatters all over our cochleas. It leads us, coaxes us into hearing the melody - and the extemporizations of that melody - and then sweeps us into the scintillating climax when it has primed us for the demolition.

I actually think that is what elevates a guitarist from simply good or even virtuoso level to something transcendent. It is knowing when NOT to overdo it. I think for Eddie in his early years with van halen he had something to prove and proved he was virtuoso. But I think where Eddie transcended is once he had proven that he played LESS when the sound called for it, and they were all better for it. I think Wolf is tapping in to this and already understands it.

Sophomore album I’m watching Wolfgang grow up, as in this is a wonderfully awesome album. It’s not about reliving Van Halen, Wolfgang is very talented, can sing well. I absolutely love the songs. Yeah he could sit around and play guitar for the 80’s crowd. But he’s formed a hell of a 2023 band that’s very much different. I love to watch his talent. He makes great music thsts all his own. His dad may be the most famous guitarist ever but this young man is in no one’s shadow, he’s damn talented.

I predict Wolfie's new album will win a Grammy for Best Rock Album and a Grammy for Best Rock Song Take a Bow!!! It will win at least 2 Grammys!! I love Wolfie's almost 7 minute Take a Bow played with his Dad's equipment and what a great solo in the middle! He plays all the instruments + is a great singer! What a great song + tribute to his Dad Eddie Van Halen! 5 star song!!

This brought a tear to my eye!! Watching and hearing this young man find his place in music, is just amazing!!! Between the loss of his father, and the unfair comparisons to a man that no one will ever compare to, I think Wolf has proven that he’s the absolute real deal, and will continue to do the Van Halen name proud!!

That guittar solo is fantastic. You can hear his DNA on it. A lot of the phrasing is sooo VH, is clearly he is a VH.

Same exact thoughts. Glad it’s a very brief part of the song (and not the entire track) that sounds exactly like something else that already exists. And that solo is downright epic.

Wolfgang has become a tremendous musician his dad would definitely be very proud of him. This song is a great song and I hear his dad‘s guitar you can almost hear a little bit of his dad coming through his son how amazing is that. I watched his dad start his career and watch it to the very end of his life and now for me to be witnessing his son taken up on his own career I’m a very fortunate man and I will be supporting him throughout his career keep up the good work. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

I can imagine Wolfgang playing the solo to this and paying homage to his Dad, sweat and tears pouring down in the studio. Very musical solo and rhythm reminds me of the solo section to In the Dead of night by UK. Awesome to hear what comes out of this kid musically, whether he is a Van Halen or not.
