53 year old blown away. VH Fair Warning tour June 1981 was my second concert.
@dottiee15963 жыл бұрын
So, 55 is old huh? Lol. My age as well. I worked in the concert production business and worked for Wolf’s Dad’’s tour Mgr. on 5150 tour. I saw VH with my son in Toronto 3/17/12, Wolfs 21st bday. Valerie was there, Wolf with his GF. We were staying at the Ritz and VH were there too. We saw the concert in the front row and then the next day, we ran into Ed. I mentioned I worked for “ Bob Daitz” a very horrible tour mgr with VH. He looked at me like he felt my pain and took a pic with my son at the time 13 and learning guitar. He shook his hand and told him to practice. He has one of Wolf’s picks. I’ll never forget the pure joy I saw when Ed played his solo at the concert. He always had a look of joy on his face when he played, but that night it was bliss. His son turned 21, his family was together ( albeit with different spouses) and Wolf sounded great. Valerie brought his GF out during Pretty Woman, so he could sing to her. I think they both wanted to die of embarrassment. So, 55 isn’t bad. The 70’s and 80’s are over but more to come! Wolfgang is like a fine wine, He has taken his time to perfect his music and spend quality time with his Mom and Dad😎

Really? All I heard was redundant guitar picking leading up to 90s creed vocals that are just as bad now as they were then...then back to more alternating picking. Then the gay little gobsmack drum break they hit before the cliche ass chorus...I'm writing this as the song plays. I can't wait for the nonexistent guitar solo. He goes from sounding like foo fighters meets gobsmack....oh God this guitar is so shit. 123 123 123 123....ooooo he threw in a squeal...then the retarded snare roll. Who tf produced this song???? You done your old man proud, son. He's out there somewhere, looking down at you with a big smile and saying, "That's my boy!" I'm an old bass player who played in bands most of my life and your music blows me away in a good way.

Glad this music is here. Sounds like I wrote myself, that’s how great this is !! Great absolutely great music . I know your Mom is beaming with how proud she is and your Father, well, He knew back then and told us all how great a musician you would be. He should know, He is the greatest that has ever lived. Thank you wolf.

Crying right now. Yes, you moved me to tears. I can hear you saying this to your dad when things werent so good. And look what he did. I can hear you saying this to yourself. I can hear you saying it to me. I hear that THING your dad had. A spirit that bounced and poured out of speakers and made life worth living. A flavor that at the time only came from him. Humble, but a kind of religion I have waved like a banner over my life ever since. THANK YOU. Because of you, the unexplainable, magical THING is not gone. If love and all the wonder in life have a sound and can momentarily be captured in a bottle.

The most important thing about your music, WVH, is the precious fact that your father got to hear it before (prematurely) departing you/us. God speed, young man. Please come to Idaho and I’ll be the first to buy a ticket!

I have not been this excited for an album to come out since the 80’s... I hope and pray he plays Dallas or East Texas!
