can't agree on this review. for me it works just perfect. using it as a duffle bag for sports with the great benefit that you can wear it on your back while using public transport. towel and shower stuff goes in top compartment. boxing gloves, shorts, shirt, water bottle goes in lower compartment and shoes...well, shoe compartment. it even fits a bjj gi in the lower compartment. got it for 70€. fair price for it

Thanks for the video! Great concept but why does the openings of the bags open downwards, looks like an accident waiting to happen with an iPad or computer flying out accidentally

Really glad I watched both of your reviews.. this thing costs €140 here in EU, the one I’m looking at looks a bit different it’s black and the logo is black and centered (not on the right) so idk if they updated it and made it better, but to me as you said it looks super small, idk why they wasted so much space with all that nonsense separation.. not to mention the materials dont look premium

Your last review on not having room for the laptop, made me not want the backpack. After this video I will consider it again. Thank you for showing all the rooms and pockets. I need a backpack for work and going directly to the gym after. I only would have had the laptop in its own room like the Mamut backpack I have today, but is a bit to small for me. A bit weird to talk negatively about all the pockets you do not use and forgot about. I have a lot of bits and pieces I need for work and for training, that I know is with me when its in the backpack.

I thought it could be OK but the idea that the only thing supporting my MB Air was that velcro strap was off-putting. The design of this bag just doesn't work. I went with a Lowe Alpine Halo instead. Also liked The Thule bags. They're just clever as opposed to trying to be clever. Samsonite does way more practical camera bags than this and Peak Design is at a different level entirely

Weird review. "It's not worth any type of money, unless you can use it." - I mean...

It's a backpack. Regardless of design by definition a backpack or any bag should always be practical. This is not.

So you did not read that this is a camera bag?
@olaf20462 жыл бұрын
No I did not see that in any of the Mammut adverts, or even the hang tags attached to the bag. If anything it emphasized "travel/commuter bag" a bunch of times. Now that you mention it I agree 1000% that it would be a pretty good camera bag if that is all you are using it for. However I believe Lowe Alpine makes a nifty assortment of camera bags that I would recommend over this Mammut bag.

imagine doing a review and not knowing its a travel backback and not edc.
@olaf2046 Жыл бұрын
I know what it is but you should be able to use a travel backpack as an edc since you're traveling when leaving the house. Smh

That is the demo video that made me buy the Seon 35. The presentation is static and ideal. You are not doing that unpacking/packing/pulling what you need out in a busy airport, or on-the-go during a crowded commute. In fact it's style works best as a checked luggage where you pack it neatly, check it and forget it until the plane lands and you arrive at your hotel room. It's not a practical commuter daily backpack unless you use it to carry camera equipment. Also not a great Crag bag or day hiker pack for reasons above in addition to being too frail for rough trail use.
