Fucking scary shit....so just like you said, he deserves tons of respect for keeping it together. I myself shake when I have to deal with pigs because you know all they want for you is to end up cuffed in the backseat of their cruiser. This best friend of his never graduated high school or got a GED, but guess what? He was able to get a job as a police officer for the LAPD, obviously because his father worked for the police. Point being, you don’t even need to have a high school diploma/GED in order to be a cop. You just need nepotism.

what upsets me even more than the unlawful detainment, is officers attempting to suggest there is something mentally wrong with the person for having rights and exercising them without explaining himself to people who aren't entitled to one... then the officers try to excuse and justify their actions because "some other time something bad happened so we're nervous"... paranoia is not a lawful reason to stop someone... they depend on the average person not being able to afford an attorney to sue...

02:28 When I was filming a neighbor under a DUI investigation, something dropped near me that audibly fell on the street, so I asked out loud “what was that that dropped? Did that fall out of me?“ And as I was looking around I wasn’t seeing anything on the ground, so I asked the cop that was babysitting me “did it fall out of you?“ He acted like I was crazy and said “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Keep in mind that my video proves that something indeed dropped, because it was very audible, but either he was deaf or putting on an act… The next thing they said was something to the effect of “are you OK?” insinuating that I was hearing things in my head. This is after a million things they did and said to try to provoke me to get me to stop recording, and it was clearly just another tactic in their book. I was amazed that they didn’t hear the sound of something dropping and tried to pull that stunt that I was imagining sounds.

“Where did you get your law degree?” It is incumbent upon every man to know the law as ignorance of the law of no excuse. “You’re filming the ‘private’ areas of the police department.” If it’s in plain view then it’s not private. “Are you having a medical episode?” Are you a doctor able to conduct medical diagnosis or are you practicing medicine without a license. Always require counsel at the first question and for every following question because every question after that opens up civil rights lawsuits even if there are criminal charges.

@@IChooseJesus9091 Means you say "im not gonna answer any questions without a lawyer present". So the cops have 2 choises , either arest you and say why they are aresting you ( given only a stupid cop will do that if there is no legal reason) or they do their task be that check lisence if its a car stop run your plates , give back your documents and let you go if there is no violation. Now most cops will be so arrogant and stupid they will keep talking all kinds of random stuff to you to make you talk back. And if you keep silent they will eventually go angry and make even more mistakes. Its pretty much 100% guaranteed lawsuit unless they arest you on the spot and say why are you arested and its actually true. Either way its better to not talk to them. My father was chief of MP several years ago and as a teen he told me that - If by any reason you come across a cop dont talk to them , do what they say and stay silent. Now as a minor that means they have to contact my parents. And that shit actually happened. I got pulled from a bus stop after school by 2 cops and pushed in their car with no info on why. I was hella nervous but i kept my mouth shut and just waited it out. They tryed to make me say anything by making jokes or straight up insult me. What they took me for was them thinking i was a witness to something. So they just wanted me to give a statement on what i saw , but treated me like a criminal altho i have never been charged with anything even to this day. When they got me to the station and hand me over to some other guy i asked they call my dad cuz he needs to know where i am since im a minor. Clearly the cops were not gonna do it unless i told them so they did call the phone number i gave (My dad who was currently still on his job) and while doing the call shoved me into a room and told me to tell them everything. Now the whole thing was cuz some older guy pulled a gun infront of some students and the parent of one of them filed in the police which is normal. The parent didnt really knew who the students were or could give any info on the guy so they said that i may know cuz i was there according to her son and i was yes. So the cops were trying to find who the guy with the gun was which is ok like thats their job right but the way they handled me was like i was a fuckin criminal which is quite insulting and could traumatize some young people. I told them that i saw it happen but i have no idea who the guy was but since i also wanted that crazy guy taken down i told them the names of the students (they already knew them) who the guy pulled on , that way at least one of them actually knows who he is. Well 2 days later i come back from school and find the same 2 cops in my living room siting with my dad and i was like ( omg what now ) . Then one of them stood up and said he is sorry for the way they acted with me given that not only was i an inocent but also a minor. After that my dad stood up , cussed the hell out of them and told them if he ever get a call like that again badges will be flying and for them to fuck off his house. It felt really good seeing those goons leave with their heads down. So yeah from that day on i had no respect for that uniform out of personal experience.

I think it is hilarious when a police officer will say, "Well, ignorance of the law is no Excuse!", but then you Bring up the knowledge you have in regards to the: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th. And your Rights to Due Process in regards to your civil rights. Police will then "mock you" for thinking you understand the Laws & Rights of Citizens.

Regardless of the label you choose to use (1A Auditor or other), I simply say "Thank you !" And I mean that sincerely. We live in an unfortunate day where nothing is monitored or has consequences. The law enforcement system is built with no oversight and a "self-policing" standard in place. The reason citizens are bullied, abused, mistreated and their rights ignored is, because they can. We are guilty until WE prove our innocence, police investigate themselves, and all govt employees are protected from the top down. Sadly, this even includes courts and judges at times. So, 1A auditors are the ONLY thing in existence that holds these people to a legal and moral standard. I'm not talking about the antagonizing, baiting trouble makers out there with cameras. I'm talking about the well educated, polite, respectful auditors out there, with the courage to test and defend the basic rights of us, the people. And that describes most I've seen and I'm grateful. As for those who loath these auditors, I have a question - What are you hiding ?? Your actions, your ethics and morals ? Your refusal to follow the law and the Bill of Rights ? Or, is it your general treatment of others, you feel you have power and dominance over ? WHAT don't you want exposed ? - Or to be stopped ?

When I was filming a neighbor under a DUI investigation, something dropped near me that audibly fell on the street, so I asked out loud “what was that that dropped?

If our cops would love America for real, cities could feel more like theme parks as crime drops due to the removal of unconstitutional laws. Then cops could maybe focus on catching people who do real harm. I think hopelessness is a big reason people can't even stand to learn all our rights - with lying cops trying so hard to violate rights, and courts that couldn't care less, it seems like something that wouldn't even work so why try. Cop watchers gave me some hope, so hopefully others will join in until the shenanigans end. Thanks so much for your truly brave work!!

look at public school curriculum in the early 70s then compare it to 80s, 90's, 00setc... at this point in US history more and more people from younger generations believe that the power lies with the state bc thats what they are taught. Its the main reason why Ideological subversion is so dangerous bc it starts to form a belief system as early as kindergarten, so the 'victim' (probably not the right word) has no idea there is another way to look at the world until after high school in most cases. I think the kids who grow up to be high level whistleblowers like Daniel Ellsburg, Ed Snowden, who know truth is priceless AND are willing to sacrifice the life they are accustomed to in hopes of sparking change or at the very least sparking a conversation regarding the things they exposed are becoming fewer and farther between.

I can see that as being valid. Quite a shame though that Rodney was the typical person that was a problem to begin with (he was being problematic to begin with at the scene, and also had a long record) - he was not some actual innocent person. Not saying that he deserved the excessive force, but he definitely deserved SOME force for the resistance he was putting up to begin with. And pretty pathetic that after he won his lawsuit, he blew through it all with drugs and ended up dying in a most hysterical fashion.
