Wow that's incredible. I shouldn't have wasted my time watching Graeme fishing - I should've just scrolled down the comments to find this mind blowing revelation that someone is first to comment. Must be so fulfilling to not just get the first comment in but let everyone know you managed it :)
@Ukprepper19944 жыл бұрын
@@ezedjay sorry? Was this fulfilling for you to make such a comment? Was there any need. I have to say, and I’m sure others may or may not agree but I find a large section of anglers especially on line to be some of the most toxic people about. Live and let live dude. I did no harm nor did I effect your life or existence in anyway so hey, leave it be.

I was only joking Dude. This "first comment" stuff just seems a bit childish to me that's all. Hi there Graeme. I'll tell you what I like about those masks. Last spring I was doing a bit of early morning fly fishing for rudd on a nearby 'fishing prohibited' lake and doing well by chucking small handfuls of maggots for groundbait and using similar looking flies to catch them. After I'd snagged my last fly on the tree behind, I snipped off half an inch of the mask elastic, singed both ends with my lighter to look like the head and butt of a maggot, superglued it to a size 8 hook, and landed an eleven pound carp on it. And on a 3lb tippet too. It was a great, though delicate at times, fight, and one of my fishing highlights. Many thanks. Raymondo

Graham those rays they don't return hardly at all. I don't know what it is about them but that one would have been caught then returned and it would have died. In a boat there ok to return NH but probably one out of every three you put back off the beach dies don't know what it is you have to really get them out into deep water for them to survive so when they're being returned from the beach you really got to Wade out or throw them out hard. This venue your fishing now is my favourite place you go I really want to go there soon as this pandemics over.

They ran up while I was getting my kit sorted. Going up there I saw a guy with a bloody head, looked like he'd been through a windshield, so I asked him what happened... he told me some bloke from the other side of the channel had obviously been practicing his pendulum casting, as a plain bomb hit him right on his head in the dead of the night! There is a grey plastic one, don't know the name it has a sort of curved plastic paddle on the end,I'm not a lover of those...If I'm just heaving out on a relatively still night I don't mind if its not clipped,but in a headwind I need it more streamlined or I am not going to get much distance,so clipped I find is better then.
