For people wondering how or why a person could commit a crime like this, bear in mind, they do NOT think like you do. In one way, we can't conceive of their motivation. But usually it is a combination of zero empathy, believing that taking another person's life makes them totally powerful (and, in one way it does, but only as the power to destroy), a belief that they are superior to everyone else, and often a poorly developed theory as to HOW they are superior (in conjunction with extreme insecurities), and then something we can't understand - something that enables them to actually act upon their desire to kill. Sometimes I think they have something like a broken strand of DNA ...

God is good, I've been following this case since the beginning. Applauds to all who helped solve this case. Idaho PD got so much sh*t for not releasing info but I believe that is what helped capture this monster and not lead him on with what there next moves were. May the families continue to heal and I hope this brings them some type of closure.

Yeah, it makes me mad when people demand they share everything, when that's probably the main reason they caught someone because they didn't overshare, and got a bunch of heat for it. I'm still of the opinion that it might not have been just one person, and they seem like they might have the same thought. Innocent until proven guilty, though. It will be interesting to see this guy go through due process.
