Man-at-Arms brought some friends, but he didn't need them. They were just there to distract Fanatic and give him guard targets to raise his own prot. After 5 years I'm finally starting to like this character.

Out of curiosity, any plans on covering a video on all hidden stats within the game, as in all the more generic ones. Such as default chance for virtue, stress heal amount after dungeons, caps for things like healing/accuracy/similar, and pretty much every mechanic that matters essentially every single week despite them being invisible to the player.

I don't have the DLC so I haven't had to fight the fanatic, so I was wondering what was so traumatizing about. Upon watching this video and realizing that he's basically the Hag but actually effectively hits you with mark synergy, my first thoughts were, "Oh... that's why everyone is afraid of him."

He wiped my first team I sent out to specifically hunt shamblers , I was in awe of how off guard I was. This was on a stygian moon run and I had effectively lost the campaign do to few weeks left

I really hate that fanatic bas#$%$# - I've had at least one party wipe when I've unintentionally ended up fighting against him. I realize it does warn you when he's going to be lurking on the level, but sometimes you still have go in if you need a specific trinket etc and so you can;t necessarily always avoid having to fight him.

Just in case you didn't know, the fanatic only appears if you have more than one cursed party member in the dungeon. Once you kill him, he won't appear again until medium infestation (after you clear a long court mission and reset infestation). So, actually, it is possible to avoid fighting him, and bring in the party you want to fight him with. He also doesn't spawn on boss levels, or go to the court.

@@nepnep615 I think all 4 members of the party have to have the curse to trigger the fanatic to show up - or at least that used to be the trigger, it may be now that you just have to have more than one person with it. But yeah, that's how I primarily avoided him, by limiting the number of cursed characters I brought - it was just that every now and then I wouldn't be able to avoid bringing 4 cursed folks and really needed the trinket granted by that mission to make it theoretically worth the risk of running into him (it also tells you when you're going into the mission if the fanatic is somewhere in there and so you can also dodge him by just pulling out of the mission immediately after you show up, but you do lose the money you spent on provisions etc.

I need help and wasn’t sure where to go. I started the game about 2 weeks ago now and I have the crimson curse dlc on (mistake). I have a lot of heroes with the crimson curse now and I’m trying to get to The Barron boss. I learnt to cure the curse I need to kill the bosses. So my question is how the fuck do I get to Barron? I’m guessing it’s this locked door and I need a key but I can’t find a key. Edit: nvm finally found a map to the keys on google Edit 2: I cry.... the door I unlocked wasn’t a boss room it had nothing inside
