In a number of ways, this film was both was comical and tragic but with a strong sense of wish fulfillment in the proceedings as I can relate to the protagonist the same way I can relate to Naofumi in "Rising of the Shield Hero" as it struck a serious chord with me on a deeper level in that they were both falsely accused of atrocious crimes in the past and would go through extremes to prove their innocence in the face of overwhelming odds.

I love the concept of the movie. Imagine a tv show like this where iggy eventually learns the devil gave him the power to learn the truth and get justice but in exchange iggy now has to like propagate sin So he becomes a private investigator/police consultant and every week he visits bars and forces the whole place to devolve into unchained sin

I think something closer to damien darkblood /hellboy would work better, where he gets visions of the truth by touching the evidence, only in exchange for each use of the power, another person's bright future is sacrificed.
