Looked at least 6 months by the weather. Cost maybe a few hundred bucks. The sheeting, varnish, oven door and nails. Maybe also for the hay if he didn’t cut it and dry it himself and the bricks.

only thing i would have changed since he had a seemingly endless supply of "abandoned" pallets is I would have made it 5 foot larger in both directions and made the walls at least a foot thick and packed with soil and the roof thicker
