There are many reasons a sponser would give Man City more than United. For example if Abu Dhabi were insuring their oil rigs etc and asked them to sponser city, the insurer might be willing to do so to land the contract. I've lived all over Asia for decades and when Man Utd play the venues are packed with fans from Shanghai to Borneo. Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have huge global fanbases too. this is pretty weird because so many tiny clubs have spent huge, clubs who would generate very little revenue. clubs who never win any trophies even united have won nothing for years and continue to increase transfers and wages 200 million in the summer. Basically, including wages and transfers the overspending is rife, and you could have a dozen teams being relegated if you want to be fair about it.

UEFA had a statute of limitations of 5 years, which most of those charges were outside of that window. This is the FA, and there is no statute of limitations, and there are far more charges. Seriously, if you'd just read any report on it you'd know this.

Not only that Premier League rules also state that even if City tried to appeal to CAS they cannot overturn any sanctions imposed by the Premier League, so if the Independent adjudicator The Premier League have put in place to oversee the case finds City guilty there is nothing City can do to overturn the punishment the Premier League hands out.
