Unfair: - big budget compared to the vast majority of clubs in europe Fair: - the team is a fully built team, every player has been signed by the same manager who seeks and sees great talent while other managers simply didn’t People always bring up the money issue. But what they don’t realize is that all of the players that were signed to the team all played for clubs with less money, less flexibility, less mentoring, chance of winning a trophy, less play in big games such as champions league and being at the top of the league table. What city have done is marvelous. They brought in arguably one of the best managers to ever walk the earth, and had men with big money invest a lot of money into a club. So we have to think then, other clubs could have bought these players for half the price than their current or actual value, City being one of those clubs. The way I see it, city was funded immensely, took the opportunity to MAKE SURE that these talented players joined the team, and now we have this gorgeous football team.
