@@jjjhs083uhm. The economy is NOT okay. Food, gas, rent, and pay are not okay. I remember paying 2$ for gas, now its 4$. Food? Used to be able to fill my cart for 200. Now 3-5 items cost 100$, let alone a full restock, that is just unimaginable unless i split my shopping between grocery outlet and dollar tree. Rent? I pay 1788 for a studio in portland because im in a “safe” area with trees yet I still have homeless coming through each night, panhandlers on each store front, and crime up the ass. What about student loans? Used to be able to be paid off, now interest is so high its nearly impossible. You are either living in a cheap area with cheap rent and food costs, so I’m assuming ur in the east coast which we all know has its problems (same with west coast) but at least things are more affordable there, or lucky enough to have a great job so you dont feel the changes. But if you look at the research the economy has been tanking these last 4 years. Went from best economy in 40 years to covid tanking everything plus new leadership which led to it just dropping since. Even unemployment went up, drug use went up, homelessness is out of control. What rock are you living under?

This happened in one of my local supermarkets and it was caught on the camera and the lady who did it is now permanently disabled by her attempted fraud and did not make any money. Not a good way to try and make money and it takes a lot of skill to fall in a way that does not cause permanent damage. I reckon the actor in this clip was a professional stuntman/actor. May have had some padding in there as well.

My mom was at Costco and a giant mirror fell off the wall and hit her in the head. Cut her face her head, she was bleeding all over the place, they treated her like she did what this guy did when it was a freak accident. She went to the ER. She got a lawyer they covered the hospital cost and gave her like 10 grand or less I can’t remember. I thought she was going to get a huge lawsuit but damn. I would have went for the big bucks. She should have found a better lawyer.

What was the damage? Settlement amounts are based on that. A TBI gets a lot more than a few scalp staples. Not saying it was okay for that to happen but $10,000 + expenses is nothing to sneeze at.

No they don’t. Name an attorney that looks over a case and takes a fraud one? That’s not actually a thing. Maybe back in the day. But with cameras everywhere, most attorneys aren’t gonna risk their credibility to defend a fraud case. Becuz if a lawyer can tell it’s fraud, then he’s gonna know others will. Most slips are accidental and it’s because the store missed a cleanup. But it’s not always the stores fault. If customers don’t report the spill, and the employees just happen to not go near it, it’s really only the fault of the immoral person who didn’t let an employee know.
