What a weird scenario. Some middle aged lady eavesdrops and starts to offer the teen some unknown drugs while his mom is in the restroom... Couldn't you made it a little bit more plausible, and had someone his age, or closer to it, at least.

As a former addict, and certified addiction expert (literally)....Dalton is right. Saying "drugs" is meaningless. Because that's a lot of different things. And they're not all inherently evil or bad. Or good for that matter. It depends on how you take them, the reason, and the what... Ffs, even big bad fent is just another opiate the same as the other however many dozen that we've been fighting and dying for for centuries. Even hospitals give it out WHEN NEEDED... Education is the key. Seriously, can't stress that enough. Just going with drugs bad mmkay leads to problems. Better to teach the truth. That they CAN BE bad very easily. Not inherently though.

Sorry, but this one comes across as a bad afterschool special from the early 90s. The topic is a good one, the acting is fine... the wording... No one but the mother should use the word "drugs" repeatedly. It's too generic. Be specific, because what drug is being used matters, and any user would likely refer to the specific drug, not the overall topic. Unless the kid is mentally underdeveloped for his age, and he didn't act like it, he's not likely doing meth in the bathroom. He probably knows the simplest details about the drug in question, like whether or not it's addictive, or whether or not it could be lethal.

I went over there to get him and kids were standing out in the yard like zombies. I went crazy. My daughter who drove me had to hold me back. The neighbors that heard the commotion applauded LOL. One of the kids over there partying had wrecked his car in a ditch and left it there and police were on the scene. I stopped and told them exactly who that car belonged to and they went over there. His parents would have been livid and scared to death if they went over to their home and nobody knew where her son was. My son is doing wonderful now and married with a good job thankfully. @@phoebegarrett3055 "I've been bullied over the years" Yep, same thing has happened to me in the past. Bullying sucks, I understand. I also faced racism too. I had bullying from kids in school years ago and the teachers also bullied me too. I have also been sexually assaulted several times. My dad punched me in the head when I was 9 years old, his dad used to punch him in the head so he copied his dad because he practically worships his parents. My dad has physically attacked my mum and he gaslights my mum, my sister and I...he has done this ever since 1991 when my parents married. I know how you feel about your parents. My mum has verbally abused me. My mum wouldn't mind divorcing dad, but she stays married because their religion looks down upon divorce and she stays married just to make my dad united with my sister and I. I also had life saving spinal surgery recently and I have lost rotation of my neck. I also have to take regular self injections because of psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis and Crohn's disease. Sadly, life can suck sometimes and it just feels unfair. I personally do think that God exists, and God makes me feel less suicidal and more happier about life.
