The Greatest Man in history is Jesus. He had no servants, yet they called Him Master. He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today, He had no wife, yet He's the Bridegroom, I love you Jesus with all my heart, strength and soul

People thought I never would get clean and stay clean including myself. Meth brought me to homelessness and too many rehabs and jails to count. God prophesied through someone that the drugs wouldn't defeat me. I've messed up and stumbled so many times but I kept pursuing Jesus and He delivered me and taught me how to persevere when life got difficult and now I'm walking in victory and loving life. He's so real and I promise he can and will lead you to victory

We must give up our will because our will has no power...it's weak to sin!!! that's why we always fail, when we follow it. Well say to ourselves "today I'm really going to try and do good"... but we fail before the day is even over because our will has no powe over evil we cannot do good by following our own will.. only evil.. .Only God's will has power, so we must ask God daily to help us to do His will because it's only His will that is good, it's only His will that has the poor over all evil...we must not go with our will, we must deny it...Jesus said "deny yourselves and follow me" His will has power over the flesh so we must not rely on ourselves but instead rely and trust in God.. I will be praying for you my brother.

Heres the thing though Mark.... By Jeff's OWN teaching... He claims that ONLY the elect can be saved.... and that they've already been pre-destined by God to be saved. Now, HOW does Jeff know that this man is one of those chosen by God??? He doesn't. Jesus died for EVERY man.... Not just some... but whosoever will believe on Jesus.... At 14:42 Jeff stopped and interacted with that one man who later came back at the end of the video. Why did the man decide to turn around? I believe it was due to the God guiding Jeff to stop himself mid-speech and speak to this one individual, who was in search of God, possibly unlike the rest of the people who continued the rest of their daily lives walking in destruction. God is good.

God is good? You mean that god that decided to execute all living creatures on this planet in a great flood (including babies and children)? Or that god that demands that a man to sacrifice his child? Or that god that makes all creatures suffer because a woman ate an apple? Or that needy god that makes ppl worship him, otherwise he sends them to hell?
@CC-wx8wk
@CC-wx8wk 6 жыл бұрын
Anyways, about the great flood- I'm not extremely knowledgeable about this, as I try prioritize the New Testament first and still am a work in progress, but I did a little research to try to answer your question. In Genesis chapter 6, four reasons why God sent the Flood:'The wickedness of man was great in the earth' (v. 5), 'Every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually' (v. 5)., 'The earth was filled with violence' (v. 11), and 'The earth...was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth' (v. 12). (All the people on earth had corrupted their way). God's mercy regarding the Flood is just as evident as His judgment, and is seen in the fact that God provided a way of escape for those who were prepared to believe what He had said, heed the warning He gave, and avail themselves of the means of salvation which He provided by instructing Noah to build the Ark (Genesis 6:14-16). The warnings given to Noah's generation are terrifyingly relevant today. When God's mercy is rejected, then His judgment must and will fall. But, as in the days of Noah, so now God has both given warning of the judgment to come and provided a way of salvation. The Ark was the only refuge from divine judgment then and it had to be entered by faith. As such it speaks to us of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Saviour for sinful mankind today, whose death on the Cross must be appropriated by faith. 'For by grace are ye saved through faith' (Ephesians 2:8); 'Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved' (Acts 4:12). As the Apostle Paul declares, 'I declare unto you the Gospel...By which also ye are saved...how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that He rose again the third day' (1 Corinthians 15: 1-4). As for the sacrifice of the child you are referring to, I think you have been misinformed. God tested Abraham. Here, God commanded Abraham to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice. After Isaac is bound to an altar, a messenger from God stops Abraham at the last minute, saying "now I know you fear God." Abraham looks up and sees a ram and sacrifices it instead of Isaac. God is against murder, this was a test to see if Abraham valued his only son more highly or God. This test was meant to bring him closer to God and after, Abraham was not the same person, as this had to occur to change him. God then blessed Him and consequently, following nations. It never was God’s intention for Abraham to actually sacrifice his son. Rather, what we have in this account is a glimpse into how God orchestrates history with small changes in the past that lead to huge changes in the future. It also is an example of how God gives us hints in the past of what will happen in the future.[3] In this case, some 2,000 years later on that same mountain, God Himself, in the person of Jesus the Messiah, took humanity’s place on the altar to satisfy the demands of perfect justice, so that He could then carry out the demands of perfect love for every person who will put their trust in Christ for forgiveness of their sins and for eternal life.

Next response to your question: Adam & Eve [man & woman] became responsible for every life form that came out of them and their progeny, that is you & me. Down to this day, we are the progeny of this Adam and his wife Eve. Thus ALL men have sinned and fall short of the glory of God our creator. Think of it as when a person makes a cake and drops the cake pan and puts a dent into the pan. Every cake being produced by that cake pan will have that identical dent built into it.That dent my friend is the SIN of Adam & Eve. Also as we inherit that dent, we also inherit the sufferings of diseases and sickness which ultimately leads us all to death. Why does God want to be worshipped? Is it because he needs constant affirmation? Is he divinely insecure, so he requires us to praise him day and night? NO! Our worship glorifies God, but he doesn’t need it. So why does God tell us to do these things? For our benefit! God demands, seeks, and requests our worship because He deserves it, because it is the nature of a Christian to worship Him, and because our eternal destiny depends upon it. That is the theme of redemptive history: to worship the true, living, and glorious God. Some people object that worship is degrading and therefore God shouldn't require it. Yet what is worship? Worship is not groveling before God, nor is it performing meaningless rituals. God hates hypocrisy and insincere worship (Hos 6:6, Is 1:11-17). What God does tell us to do is to love him (Mt 22:35-40). Loving God includes praising him, thanking him and obeying him (1 Jn 5:3). If God is perfect, then he deserves praise, and his commands are good commands that should be obeyed. Worshiping God is not degrading to us, but actually benefits us: Worshiping God fulfills us and makes us happy. Worshiping God puts us into the proper relationship with him, in the sense that we are acknowledging that he is God and deserves worship, and doing what he wants us to do. By worshiping God, we acknowledge his perfection, which is the first step in learning from him: we realize he's a perfect teacher, and then we are willing for him to teach us and increase our wisdom and morality. Publicly expressed worship is one way that people find out who God is. When they come to know God, they too will find fulfillment and grow into better people, which benefits not only them but society at large.

For your hell question: The Bible says that hell is a place without any of the good things that God gives us and which we enjoy today, such as friendship, love, joy-it’s an awful place. And so why can’t God just forgive everyone, and let anyone into heaven? Why does he insist in a seemingly cruel way that some people must go to hell? Well the Bible says that God is loving, and it also says that he will send some people to hell-so could it be that both things are true at the same time? I’d like to briefly give a couple of suggestions as to why this is the case. Just because God is loving, does not mean that he loves everything-there are some things that God doesn’t love, that in fact he hates. So he doesn’t love murder, or abuse, or selfishness, or pride. Actually, if he is loving, then he will hate these things. It wouldn’t be very loving of God to look at something like child abuse and say: “Well, I’m not really that bothered.” So God is loving-and yet he doesn’t love everything. And because this loving God hates bad things, he does something about it. And this is good news. We all have a kind of a sense of justice-so it’s good news that people who mistreat others are not allowed into God’s perfect kingdom, but are shut out-that is, they’re sent to hell. It’s loving of a just God to hate and punish wrongdoing, so that only perfect things are in his perfect kingdom. Now I guess not many of us have a problem with the idea of famously bad people facing punishment-but this actually leaves us with a problem too, because none of us are perfect. None of us have treated God, or treated each other, in the perfect way we were intended to. If I’m honest, I know I haven’t treated people as I should. I’ve hurt people, I’ve ignored their needs, actually I’ve upset even some of the people I love the most. And I haven’t treated God as I should-as my Maker and my Creator, and therefore the ruler in charge of my life. And so I deserve punishment of my wrongdoing too. We actually all deserve to be punished. We all deserve to go to hell. None of us are perfect-so none of us should be in God’s perfect kingdom. Now as I say this, I know it’s not an easy thing to hear. It’s not an easy thing for me to hear. But just because we don’t like something, doesn’t mean that it’s not true. And it’s not something that Jesus says flippantly or lightly, without caring. He doesn’t say it just to scare us. But he does say it to warn us-and to help us see how amazing it is that he offers us a way out. Because this is the amazing news-that even though we all deserve punishment, even though we deserve to go to hell, Jesus-God himself-has provided a way out for us. He doesn’t do this by leaving things unpunished, and so forgetting about justice. He does it by himself taking our place; in his death taking our punishment and himself experiencing hell so that we don’t have to. It seems to me as if this is a truly loving God. He loves the world enough to punish wrongdoing, and he loves people enough to take the punishment himself. He loves us enough to give us a choice: we can to ask him to be part of our lives now, and so avoid hell and look forward to enjoying his perfect eternal kingdom. A lot of people disregard God because they live in sin and it is easier and convenient to continue in such a life still, than start to change. Also, it may seem more peaceful to believe that God doesn't exist because then there is no hell and no punishment, therefore do whatever you want. Please ask anymore questions if you’d like. I love you and more importantly, so does God. I spent this time, with God being the orchestrator, to help you, is that not love?

@@horstwillibert4816 - I also want to add to the answer about the flood. God warned the people time and time again to turn from their sins up until he flooded the earth. So although God was upset and angry and sent his wrath upon the world, he still loved his creation so much that he never gave up on them. They had free will and chose to turn from him. They would have been damned till the day they died. Because their hearts were hard and they chose death.

I've not heard them say that 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 is the gospel for salvation do! I have heard David and Philip say about the blood and the death, burial and resurrection but not state clearly that the gospel is what I put from Apostle Paul the apostle for gentiles! The Pastors are not taught that clearly that is why and many denominations even leave Paul out!!!

This was a Glorious Moment to witness. I have felt a calling for some time now, to go out and to open air preach. But i have struggled with sin however which has prevented me from being prepared to do this work, and i seek its Mortification and God’s Grace to walk in obedience. Please Pray for me brethren that i can Kill my sin and walk in Christ’s Joy once again.

You're not preaching your self. So, if you not asking them to follow you, then GO and tell them what He's done and how He continues to do a perfect work in you. Sanctification is not one and done. EVERY one of us still has sin to deal with, dear! Dont talk yourself out of grace. You are simply elevating your sin. You will never be"good" enough! That's the point. NONE are "good" but Him. Be careful not to make your leftover sin your message to yourself, moreso than Messiah's message for the world about Yahweh. Get on out there ❣️ Bless you .

Wow! Halfway through this message I just realized, I've never heard anyone preach in the tone that Leonard ravenhill did, but here, Jeff is doing that very thing! Not so much with fire and brimstone preaching, but the loving tone, pleading with his fellow man so passionately. I'm so impressed with the love and the grace the Lord has blessed pastor Jeff with and it is very inspiring to ask the Lord to do the same in me.

I relate with that guy and his girlfriend situation, it really matters who you are with people. An ULTIMATELY Christian's should be looking for marriage with equally yoked BELIEVERS, And DO NOT play games thinking that you should put yourself in a relationship thinking you are going to bring them to Christ through the relationship, guard your heart.

God bless you Jeff, and God bless that gentlemen. I too suffered from addiction, I worked the 12 steps of alcoholics anonymous and in doing so I was lead to Jesus, I was found by God, I was saved from a life of hate, arrogance, idolatry, gluttony. I was a slave to crime and addiction, but Jesus restored me and because of him I now practice love, mercy, humility, courage, integrity, honesty, patience, gratitude, service to others, perciverence, brotherly love, understanding, hope, willingness, and most importantly faith, faith in my savior Jesus Christ. I am truly redeemed. For those who are still suffering, there is hope, remember pain is mandatory suffering is optional, Jesus Christ will save you from your suffering, repent of your sins and have faith in Jesus Christ. God bless all of you

For years I was part of the church being taught a false gospel. I knew in my heart that I was distant from the Lord, and I repeatedly would seek the council of leaders in the church only to be assured I would go to heaven and had nothing to worry about. By the grace of God I was turned from my sin to Christ and I now see the gospel for what it truly is. It was by going to a church that preached the word of God faithfully and without reserve that the Lord revealed himself to me. It’s so refreshing to see a pastor call out the false gospel for what it is and truly call believers to repentance. The power of the word of God is undeniable. No false gospel can compete with the Lord’s inspired text.

"you can know God NOW" why is it so difficult to understand? even Christian's and myself get caught up in thinking "I haven't gone to church in a while" or "i don't feel saved" it's about what Christ does for us and our faith in him, nothing else.

I couldn’t agree more. I was just thinking this tonight while watching Jeff’s videos and as a born again Christian myself I was just overcome with repentance all over again because I still slip into this idea of “being good enough” when I could never be good enough on my own. Period. This is while the Gospel is so needed and crucial. It’s something I need to be reminded of DAILY as my flesh tends to crave some sort of credit in my salvation. Blasphemy. I love these presentations on KZbin they really help me come back to Jesus and grow. Absolutely amazing.

LordofTheharvest73 I have experienced something like that. A lot of signs in a way..and I have to tell you that I really got scared cuz I didn't know from where I was receiving them..was it God or was it the devil? But I guess you have to see where they direct you to..good or evil. I read some jung to clear my mind..and I guess there is a supranatural world that God created for us. What do you make of it? Jews used to ask for signs..so maybe it is one way that God directs us.

I am not sure I can pick a specific moment in time where I received salvation. Looking back I thought I had at one point but then realized at that point I hadn't. I can say I really began to fully embrace the gospel in my early 30's. I know at that time I moved from what I called the exploratory phase to the all in phase. I knew at that time I was committed where as in my 20's I was not. I had certainly been exposed to the gospel but at that point I had not said yes. I had prayed the prayer and all that but too many pray the prayer thinking it is magic and your life will suddenly change. Too much weight is placed on their being a specific moment and a one and done.
