He’s had 2 traumas that were the culprit of his inability of neck movement. The first was falling a very tall swing and the second was a heavy container that fell directly on his head! Both accidents severely compressed his spine even forming a severe hyper kyphosis in his thoracic spine! His neck has been crunched up and will not move at all. I had to do some intense chiropractic adjustments and painful soft tissue therapy to help regain motion in his neck and shoulders!

I think he would really benefit from a physical therapist who specializes in dry needling. A lot of the spots he's experiencing tightness in could be loosened up significantly with dry needle therapy

I love chiropractic work I wish more doctors accepted it. My first doctor said she wanted me to do surgery then therapy and if it didn't work to do chiro. I laughed and switched doctors. Took about two years to get to see a chiro back in 2017 now I need it again. Pay injuries messed my body up

If there's any chance the patient reads this then he should try these ideas...1) Get two pair of small dog leashes and wrap your wrists with them. Now while laying down, have someone raise your arms upwards then outwards from the other ends of the leashes but you need to relax as much as possible. Careful not to pull too far out of fear of hyperextension or dislocation. Repeat this for 10-20 min a day til' your arm movements allow you to perform chin-up pullups and wide spaced pushups. 2) Using those same leashes again, you want to have one person on each end, contorting your arms while in a relaxed position. Have them perform clockwise then counter-clockwise repetitions and repeat this for 10-20 min a day. 3) Swim overhand(regular) in a pool for 30 min a day. If there is a deep end, then this next part is super effective...in the deep end, you want to release enough breath to sink to the bottom then push off the bottom with your head up as much as you can when resurfacing. Repeat this for 30-60 min a day or til you feel like you're gonna pass out. Always have a spotter with you anytime you try these methods just in case but I hope this helps you as it has me and others. -TheB4G3L

This guy needs daily corrective exercises and a stretching routine. There’s only so much progress you’re going to have with sporadic visits for manual adjustments. People with his caliber of mobility have daily physical therapy in outpatient or inpatient PT following accidents or other bodily trauma.
