A good ex-student of mine, now a consummate pro bass player himself, uploaded a video where he analyzes what Ale actually practices with her teacher. It's just what you would expect from a pro: groove, timing, scales, patterns, technique, repertoire (Charlie Parker's "Donna Lee" appears) and there are several clips when Ale is just jotting around some Jaco Pastorius' lines. She knows her stuff.

Their tour dates are on their webpage. They have US dates through May then European dates starting in June. Opened four shows for Muse in January and are scheduled to open for them in the UK and France this summer. Hitting up several of the big European festivals as well.

This song was quite a way down the list of my favourites on the album , but listening to it live i like it alot more than the album version , and it just highlights that in the studio , you don't need to mess about too much with the accoustics and harmonies , keep it more natural i say !

Finally, finally, finally, good old fashioned guitar-based hard rock is back. This band is an egoless unit, hence no self-indulgent 10 or 15 minute solos. For them, it's the song not the musician that they are putting forth. Dany has one of the best singing voices in rock right now, and she just gets better.

I'm on the lowest Patreon tier and I only have 2 tracks that are not released to the public. Only the 2 highest tiers have the whole concert, and we were all explicitly told not to share links. So unless you are friends with a top tier patron that will let you go to their house and watch it, you will have to wait like the rest of us.
