Well, I don't know. You don't leave for work to another state without planning it with your partner. Without letting them know exactly where you are and what you're doing. I was there in person, sitting directly behind Mr. Taylor for the filming and he was very very hurt by her actions. This young man was really trying to help his family and his intentions were not to "LEAVE" them, but to go find work and provide for them as he knew a father should. He truly believed the child was his and was taking care of him and the other children, he adores his kids and again was very hurt by the situation. There is more to the story than what is shown on this video.

That's the side of the coin not talked about when dating single mothers. When you break up with the mother, you leave the children, too. My first serious relationship was with a single mother of two; my ex-fiancé. We were a little family. Her son often stayed with the grandmother, but I kept telling her she needed to be with both kids, and I loved her daughter dearly. We broke up, but I was working at the local health unit. Her daughter came to get her immunizations, and when she saw me, she squealed and ran to me & hugged me. She sat on my desk and told me about her day, how she fought with her brother but didn't hit him because she knew I would be mad, and she said she learned how to write her name. She then wrote her name over & over in my notebook & on my desk calendar. She then asked me why I did not come to see them anymore and asked was I mad at her, and she missed me. I had to go to the maintenance room in the back & cry, it broke my heart so much. There are many negatives about dating a single mother, but a good man that has to leave the family he stepped up to support & the heartbreak of the kids is one rarely talked about. As an update, the not-so-little one is now 23 & married. She found me on FB a few years ago and we talk sporadically. I'm still happy for her.

I was only 10yrs old at that time when i met him (my sister is 5yrs older than me) They broke up when I turned 15 & my sister was 20. I had my sister's boyfriend for 5yrs of my life. I loved him like a brother & I thought they were going to get married. They broke up & it destroyed me. I cried alot & still needed him in my life so I was always contacting him. My point is if this was just my sister's boyfriend imagine when kids fall in love with their mother's boyfriend who they feel will be their father than it doesn't work out & they never see them again. It's extremely painful.
