You have plenty of room under the deck to mount a least 2 or 3 on your post supports. Since you park the four wheelers and dirt bikes under the deck. 2 in the house 2 out at the barn and at least 1 in the mechanical room. Water cannot put out propane fire or electric fire. Like y’all said y’all were lucky that y’all were there as the mechanic didn’t NOT have a fire extinguisher in his truck. White smoke can be gas also,most likely the car flooded and filled the crankcase with gas, and intake was probably full of fuel and it backfired, igniting the gas and throwing it back to the air filter, setting it on fire. 7:28 josh talks about the gas tank going from 1/4 tank to empty, the needle and seat in the carb was leaking and pouring fuel into the cylinders, and with the plugs out it ran down the engine. Mr mechanic most likely didn't disable the ignition system and left the plug wires laying on the block, the mechanic cranked it over, causing a spark and igniting the fumes.
@davidsuperdavelarson61743 жыл бұрын
@@dave1135 Your probably close to right. I saw when he tried to start it that was raw fuel coming out and if it had been a hot exhaust system if would have caught fire them. Once I saw that I would have shut it all down and had it pulled away from the house till fixed. This was a very amature mistake by all parties there. Stupidity has burn more many a home down. I was Ellie's age when we had our house fire, the electrical to the clothes dryer caught on fire in the wall. Will never forget that smell every summer when our attic got warm the charred wood let off scent that's unforgettable. My parents rebuilt that portion of the house but since the attic only housed a linen cupboard on the slant roof walls they didn't bother going to the expense of ripping that portion off. We lived in a village with volunteer firefighters we thank God every day that our neighbours were firemen. One ran up the two houses and he and dad were trying to get somewhere with the garden hose while the other neighbour ran up the other street to the fire house to bring the tanker. All while my mom, and myself, our dog and our parakeet sat in our car out on the other side of the street watching them do their thing! Of course my brothers who were older were standing outside watching! That house had been in our family long before my mom was born and thank goodness we still had our home afterwards! Glad you were all safe! Please put a second tap on that side of the house with a hose! I think it's a fantastic idea to mount a cold weather rated extinguisher under the deck, for those just in case moments!

Thanking God for the "coincidence" of the writing email delay, and for your wisdom in having fire extinguishers around your home and knowing how to use them! Teach the children how, too! God bless!

A five minute e-mail delay might seem like a lucky coincidence, but I’ve had those lucky coincidences many times. One saved my life, thanks to my mother being a nurse, and less than a week later, I was able to help someone else using the same procedure my mom taught me. I just think that coincidences like that are God’s way of stepping in to help when there isn’t time to give a time-consuming life lesson.

I agree. God played a hand in the timing, etc in this whole incident. They are good people and I love their whole family.

It's been said "There are no coincidences" and also, "It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it."
