I turned 60 in February this year. Talking to my 19 year old grandson, about my arthritis issues, chronic sciatica and other things, I mentioned to him that I'll be at peace once I pass on and I'm not afraid to die. He said that comment bothered him and he wished I hadn't said it. I calm told him that I've watched and listened to so many NDE testimonies, that there's no reason to be afraid of dying, as it's just a part of our life and a beautiful and painless love awaits us. Now, after having listened to a dozen or so of these NDEs, he understands. I'm in no hurry to go, I have a loving wife, daughters and grandchildren that want me around, still. But no, I'm not afraid to die.

You can heal yourself. Theres always a reason for pain in the body, you must talk to that part of your body like if it could talk to you, and listen what it wants you to do. Then you need to eliminate your fear of the pain and anxiety that triggers the constant cycle of chronic pain and very carefully monitor and mentally reduce your pain untill you feel safe and feel like it its possible to do it, dont let the tought of your age make you believe that the pain is normal or the pain because of arthritis is normal, theres alot of people with severe arthritis with no pain. Also our thoughts impact our reality because we live in a world controlled by the law of attraction

One time I had acute hyponatremia, which is extremely low blood sodium, due to a sports event, and I woke up in the middle of the night and I could feel my life force packing up. It's just like he says. I always wondered if people knew when they were going to die and I did know. I knew if I fell asleep I probably wouldn't wake up. And the nephrologist confirmed that when I finally saw him. He said they read about acute hyponatremia in med school but he had never had a case because most people don't make it. I never had any of the cool parts of the NDE though except in a dream, right around that time, I woke up with a voice in my head saying, Love the process, love the hard parts, love the easy parts, love the pain, love everything to do with life and being alive.

Thanks so much for this! Some years ago I had minor sinus surgery, and stayed in hospital overnight for observation, only because I had sleep apnea. The next afternoon I was laying in bed waiting to be released; only med given was T3. Suddenly I became very hot, burning hot all over. Burning, yet it was oddly pleasant. I entered into a feeling I have only ever called bliss-euphoria. Similar to the description in this video, all was perfect. No time, no reference, nothing mattered, all perfect bliss. I could have stayed in it, but there was the slightest sliver of obligation...home...kids. It took some time, but I had to force my consciousness back from bliss-perfection.

@@jonathanvanvalin4518 I have a question for you Jonathan: all the ancient traditions (eg the egyptians) say in order to stop the reincarnation cycle you have to take memory through death. Now you speak of losing your identity and melting into this "one ness" which is exactly what we are supposed to for want of a better word: beat , or overcome. Are you aware of these teachings? Was there a point at which you felt you actually had no free will. Being surprised by the experience i suppose you just kind of went along with it, but what do you make of what i have just shared with you? Do you feel that you were losing your "self" there in the process? Was there some point at which you felt you could stop this? Hope you see this comment.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I found it to be the most similar to my own experience that I have yet found. I don’t usually resonate with many of them. Everything you described is exactly what happened to me and it was very affirming and reassuring. Despite the almost unfathomable pain, there was the oneness, peace, love, the total acceptance, no words necessary, no rush, just being with what is in the present moment. So much grace. The closer you get to death, the closer you get to the truth as well. Like you, I have struggled to find words to express what I went through and my human mind struggles to maintain that level of peace in my life especially now that I have been injured and have to live in a painful body every day. This brought back the memory of the love, oneness and home I know we will all merge back to one day 💛✨

Kikki, thank you for your comment! Like you, I've noted there are some who take issue with how I've described my experiences. I think what happens for some is that they have pre-conceived ideas about NDE's, and probably other spiritual experiences too, that they cling to firmly, probably because they haven't gone through such experiences themselves and therefore don't know any better. From my point of view it will be merely a matter of time until those experiences DO come their way, and they will surely have their minds opened to greater possibilities when that occurs... Perhaps accounts such as mine will speed that process along. In any case, I appreciate you and am delighted this found you, and that you found it compelling. Peace be wit'chu, Kikki! - Jonathan 😊🙏

@s.o.s. diy repair Yes... physical pain must be associated to a body, and when we experience we are not the body, well... then that pain is rendered irrelevant, and thus there is no suffering from it. Emotional pain is similar, in that it must be associated to a "story" such as whatever happened during our life... but when we are aware of our fundamental being-ness that is beyond any story, then... the emotional pain of those stories need not be clung to, either. That is what real freedom is... and this can be experienced while still in a body. That is what "awakening" really means. We "wake up" and open our eyes to the awareness, these truths.

Jarod, from my perspective, there is a funny thing about the human ego, which is that it likes believing in itself as a real thing that also wants to be a separate little individuated being, special and... separate. In the end its a myth, a mis-thought, an error, or... as often described in the literature of the east, an illusion. It is an appearance, a projection; an illusion of coming here over and over, all the while remaining perfectly in the hand of God. Until that time when we are ready to give up the silly illusions. Like a dream. Then one awakens to their reality in the Divine and "coming here" (or the illusion of it) is no longer.... May such outrageous words contribute to your own journey... 🙂🙏 - Jonathan

The “oneness” part truly resonates with me. Disclaimer, I don’t recommend this, but … I’m In mid 50s now, back in the 80s it was an LSD trip that prematurely opened pathways I was unprepared for. I journaled for 3 hours trying to put the experience into words. When I looked back at it days later I had a notebook more than half filled with the number one, trying to describe it in different ways quite ineffectively; it was just a “knowing”, with 💯 absolute certainty, that it all comes together. Everything always works out in the end. This temporary reality of individualism and egoism may be flattering to some, but (in the scheme of things) exceptionally meaningless to most, at least most who understand what Jonathan teaches here in this video. All things are “ONE”.

So we’ll said “man”, thank you. Been there, not a single family member knows about my experience, yet many “strangers” have listened and welcomed my sharing. One other thing is that since Nov 2002 I’m having multiple powerful other experiences, like portals/wormholes opening and I know know how to make these events happen. Love 💗

Your share was meaningful to me. Your face shows the light of God. I can't wait to go there, but I know l have a need to be here. My husband and children are at the top of the list. I have also felt that God wants me here to share with others. I am glad you came back, God needs you here to share your experience because it brings hope to a suffering world.

Thank you for sharing this. It is obviously what was written for you Jonathan. We all have our stories to play out. The explanation of your NDE is the closest I have heard so far to the statements of the Indian sage Ramana Maharshi who spent time in this dreamscape from 1879 to 1950. He constantly reminded people that came to him that they were not their body or their suffering or their thoughts and to inquire within to whom all of this arises. Peace. We are already that right now and not in some future realm. There are spiritual practices that have been put forth for millennia to actually know all of this without physically dying. Some have even said that the whole purpose of life is to have God or Self realization while the body is still activated in this dreamscape.

Thank you Jonathan for sharing your experience with such honesty and humility. The message you received is so wonderfully reassuring, that, despite all our suffering, we are all part of a much bigger picture, although this seems to be hidden from us most of the time. Little glimpses, such as whenever we feel love for someone or something, as you say, are hints of that great ocean of love and peace that is the ground of us all. God bless you on your journey and thank you once again.

Thank you for this wonderful testimony. Bliss and peace can be found through following the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi, an Indian sage who was enlightened and taught self inquiry, which helps us realize the ultimate truth this man speaks of; that our Self or Soul is not our body or mind, but a divine part of the universal energy. 🙏

I love this. His experience reminds me of a particular feeling I have at times. I’ve never felt my body dying before but I have felt that peace. That love. It takes something like all my effort but none at all to get there. It’s hard for us to just ~ be ~ cut out all the BS life throws at us and just ~ be ~ be quiet. Let your mind drift. Basically meditate. Just focus on the eternal oneness. “Let go” of your tension. Just ~ be ~ It helps me get through life in general.

Psychedelics also give us that same exact experience of merging with everything, but while still in the body. What this man describes as being grounded in profound peace and love, being one with everything, and knowing that everything is ultimately alright... that is precisely the experience that the peace and love movement of the 60's was born out of. People were tapping into this truth, because they tried the chemical compounds which allowed them to.
@benj5335
@benj5335 11 ай бұрын
Still a rather controversial topic in today's world, sadly. However, I fully agree with and can somewhat attest to your comment. If only these compounds could gain the understanding and respect of the masses they deserve.

amazing. Incredible description of the oozing into infinity and the slow separation from body and the hovering in between two realms. I was with you. I felt you. I get it. Fascinating. Makes you wonder. Some NDEs, go to a heavenly place and see specific loved ones while being away of the distinct individual self in energetic form, but there is formed sense of location and of other separate and distinct spirits. This wasn't even an experience of having arrived at any place as an individual energy or soul. It was about becoming the location of all Ness which has no location and no self identification or separation of self. This was about awareness seeping into the collective source. Makes you wonder if there is an ability to evolve from this to an actual heaven into the arms ( energetic arms) of loved ones. This made me think and feel and wonder, yet, it all made sense and I understand. Thank u for finding the right words. Fantastic.
