I have an eating disorder and am vegetarian; sometimes my infrequent awesome coworker will bring me random veggies from her garden. I'm telling you when I bit into that raw ass tomato on an empty stomach after skipping breakfast it changed my life and have always tasted awesome raw since. When I can I make fat tomato and Kewpie mayo sandwiches but it's mainly for the just tomato experience 😋 they gotta be the firm ones though, I'm not looking for jack o lantern guts

Bananas are definitely overrated imo, along with all fruit I consider to be LaCroix levels of flavor. Not sure if blueberries or watermelon are worse for this. Probably watermelon because at least dehydrated blueberries come alive with flavor, not too sure about the melon 😅 Of course there are so many ways to rate these foods so I get why it could be divisive even though we pretty much all agree on which fruits are edible. I really only care about flavor but I could see texture, aesthetic, portion size, etc coming into play. Although now that I think about it I gotta drop banana to low-C, the flavor is mid (not a fan of fruit that I think the artificial candy version is superior haha) and the tannins give me cottonmouth for real. I'll never understand the people who eat a banana for breakfast without washing it down with a gallon of water 😂 Also, I live in an area known for its apple production and I was bored of them in kindergarten so they're bottom F-tier for me although I completely understand why people could obsess over them with the variety! Blackberries and raspberries are outstanding but they grow randomly in the city even everywhere around here so you can eat them whenever. and they're spiky which I think makes them cool. The flavor is so pronounced and they range from tart and intense to sugary sweet with a deep aftertaste. I just realized how high I have gotten. Thank you for letting an old man rant about something I don't actually care that much about 🙇‍♂️

I keep hearing people defend watermelons and have not heard one damn reason WHY Imo they're like the LaCroix of fruit, have terrible mushy texture like you froze it and thawed it 10 times, and why in god's name do they have to be so inconvenient and heavy. Grapefruit is A (try it with sugar, they sell these plastic tubs of ready to eat tiny grapefruit wedges in sugar liquid 🤤 amazing in a beverage when you're thirsty and great for keeping your skin moisturized!! ) but cantaloupe is S!!! I can't believe he threw it down there just because it "goes with watermelon" I mean yeah watermelon goes down there (you don't need functioning taste buds to know that about something without flavor) but I don't believe he's ever tried a cantaloupe. @@XxZigonxX 'Raw' grapefruits are an acquired taste but if you're intro citrus and generally acidic flavors they are godly - it's mild enough that it won't make your mouth feel weird like it can happen after eating a lemon (though YMMV), but real fresh and citrusy with just a hint of sweetness. I completely understand most people not liking it on it's own though, it's like bitter soda (which I'm a fan of too) - you either love it or you don't.
