My daughter (5) & I stopped at a drink machine in a parking lot. I noticed a man in a BMW following and looking at us. After we finished, I pulled up to the exit and was waiting to pull out. He pulled up beside me and motioned to roll my window down. When I did, he said something like, "How much for her?" Confused, I asked him to repeat it. He said, "How much money to be with her?" While pointing at my daughter. My heart literally stopped. I was absolutely shocked. He must've seen my face because he squealed out of there. I pulled out in front of cars to chase him and get his license plate. I called the cops, but they didn't care. I think he was comfortable asking me this because I was an addict and I'm sure he could tell. That tells me that he'd successfully attempted that before. Why else would he be so comfortable asking? I think this guy is a very great example of someone who's life just spiraling out of control due to addiction and small crimes until it ends badly. He's not a bad guy per se. He clearly cared about his child and he's feeling guilty enough that even when being severly drunk to evade the reality of his life he can not escape it. He has an alcohol problem, lost his job, tried to sell stuff legally, got into meth, his addiction problem got worse and when being confronted with the only thing he really had left, his child, being threatened he just couldn't control himself anymore. And with that he might have saved others from a clearly deranged pdf file. I'm not calling him a hero or excusing his actions, but this case is very very sad and the reality is stuff like that can get out of control very fast even if you're a decent person.

Jasper could have been everything he said he is but he could also be lying because he lied about a bunch of other things during the investigation like the gun being stolen while telling an inmate the gun was in the truck. There’s a reason why addicts are not taken seriously in court and make poor witnesses to put on the stand. . This man is literally cooking meth in his house while the cops were there. The beer is not the only reason he’s acting like that. His brain is likely fired!!! So while what he’s saying about Jasper could be true it could also be delusions from excessive meth use. Meth addicts are some of the most dangerous drug users to be around because they’re highly unpredictable and this guy was cooking it and inhaling the fumes. I had a friend that did meth and one time we met up with him and was sitting in a friends car just talking. He just started looking at some guy across the street and said what the f… is that guy looking at ? We all looked at the guy across the street and said he’s not even looking in our direction. This guy proceeded to jump out of the car, run across the street, and start punching the guy because he was convinced he was giving him dirty looks. This is why I know you can’t just believe the word of a meth head. I still think part of the season he killed him was to get his truck to sell for money to pay his rent to avoid eviction but it’s much easier to go to prison with the story that he killed a sex offender that wanted to have sex with his kid. Also there’s a possibility the meeting was to have sex for money for his rent but he doesn’t want to admit he’s gay because jasper is clearly gay. Why is he meeting a gay man at his house ? 🤷🏻♂️ what straight men do you know is bringing gay strangers they met online to their house ? 🤔 Come on now. That guy was likely in the closet and probably slept with jasper for money. Obviously he can’t go to prison with that on his paperwork or he’s dead. That’s probably why he’s running with the “he wanted to have sex with my kid” story. I know I’m not inviting gay strangers to my house, are you ? 🤔

So, according that that FB comment in the end Jon was actually right, the news didn't report on why he did it and just made it sound like a druggie white man senselessly killing a black man. I think the caller was right. I don't think Jasper was after the kid, I think he cracked the nasty joke about his son. But, I think Jasper came to John for meth. But Jasper wanted more then meth. John didn't look like a very big guy, he would have been easy to violate, if I recall correctly Jasper was taller then John, I don't think it would have been difficult for Jasper to try to violate John especially if they were both methed up. John just wanted to sell him meth but he wanted more and raped him. Where there is smoke there is fire. Maybe Jasper cracked a joke about selling the kid (sexually) for money. Regardless, it's a terrible situation around. It was obvious John felt shame, but I don't think it's from killing Jasper. It's shame from what Jasper did to him. That's why the story didn't really make any sense. But, if you throw in the theory about Jasper raping John, then, you have motive.

@@estroboscopios would you agree that there is a real difference between killing a random person walking in a park,vs killing a rapist that isn't remorseful and going to do it again? Has raped a man before and suggesting trafficking a child? Just hypothetically asking. A lot of the time these predators only get slapped with a couple years if you do go the legal route. You have to consider that too when weighing out how horrible it is to "take out the trash" with someone like that. A lot of people have it in their heads that if they get caught and convicted, they're gonna go rot in prison. Many times they don't and are just out in a couple years and back at it. So in a case like that one must wonder, what really IS the moral thing to do? Turn them in and put other people and children at risk due to our tone deaf laws on the subject, or be the "bad guy" and take out the trash? I find it an interesting moral dilemma that has an argument both ways. But there's certainly a difference between killing an innocent person and killing a violent criminal. That's why many states and many places in the world have the death penalty as an option for the most severe of crimes. The idea being that it's not just simply murder at that point.

The moral of the story is never tell an unstable man you want to have sex with his adolescent son or tell the man you want to sell his son. The father reacted in a way that many father's would want to act but he did not have the will power to not delete the man. It appears that people are taking exception to the word adolescent in my description of the child. According to the video his son was 8 and was a juvenile or young male. I used the term adolescent to mean a young person or juvenile ( see Merriam Webster dictionary/thesaurus) and not a narrow definition which deals with a person going through puberty or a person in their teens.

Really frustrating that we can't confirm the allegations against Jasper, that piece of the story would be what differs Jon from a killer to a hero. (murder is still wrong don't get me wrong)

I wish Jon all the best for the future, guy was clearly in a rough patch and this guy pushed him one step too far. I don't blame him at all, as a father myself I can't say I wouldn't want to do the same. Jon didn't deserve jail, but he did deserve rehab and psychological help.
