I have to disagree - there are exceptions. I'm a christian and a kind person who wouldn't hurt a fly, I am just very tall and wear dark clothing occasionally, And dogs constantly think i'm A threat and miss Label me as such. My family a dog, who died a couple years back, got him from a friend who found him on the street. Mutt to the core. He was medium-sized, had a German shepherd-like head, was a bit chunky, and had a curly tail like a shibu inu. And he was clearly racist. He obviously showed more aggression toward black strangers than white ones. Possibly due to abuse he had suffered prior to my family owning him. He would always recoil and flinch when you approached him with something in your hand, even if it was his own food bowl.

Growing up my best friend (who was black) had a dog who would go absolutely ballistic when I'd go over. Was that dog racist? Or was it fighting for equity?

I don't like allowing strangers into my house. My dogs understood that and would always begin growling and barking viciously when salesmen came to my door. Then, when the unwelcome intruders retreated, I would give them treats. Where is the problem?

Not just dogs, I knew a duck, that lived in a wildlife park that hated black Pepole and used to chase them, whenever it saw one. But wouldn’t chase any other race or person. Was very Random.

Dogs are often a reflection of how they are brought up and might inherit certain prejudices they might have observed from their owners. A dog will react to people of a different group if he is not comfortable with that group just like we would.

My brother had a doberman that was built like a barrel. Shorter legs than most dobermans and a huge chest. Weighed nearly 120 lbs. He was an intimidating beast. He was also pretty racist. Did not like black folks for some reason. One night my brother was taking the dog for a walk a black dude walked up to him and claimed that he had lost his dog and accused my brother of stealing him. My brother didn't argue with him he just reached down and unsnapped the leash and said if he's yours, take him. The guy took a step forward and the dog bared his teeth and snarled. The guy backed off pretty quickly and admitted perhaps he had been mistaken. That happened decades ago and my brother still chuckles over that story.

I have a beautiful German shepherd. Some people adore him…but other demographics cross the road to avoid us at all costs….I suggest that you all get German shepherds….forget the cockapoos and labradoodles…get a shepherd…..the best protector and house security you could ever wish for. Love my boy❤❤❤

Had a dog that would nip at just one friend, completely out of character for him as he never nipped at anyone. After studying it, I realized that my friend always "talked" with a lot of quick hand gestures...lol... made the dog very anxious and jumpy. Something that I never noticed about my friend but the dog picked it up immediately.
