Man sentenced to life in prison after admitting to murder of 13-year-old North Carolina girl

A man will spend the rest of his life in prison after admitting to murdering a teenage girl, according to officials with the Lumberton Police Department. Michael McLellan admitted to kidnapping 13-year-old Hania Aguilar from her driveway on the morning of Nov. 5, 2018, and later killing her and disposing of her body. Officials said his guilty plea, which also includes charges involving two unrelated victims, was accepted by a judge on Friday morning.
